Ok many of you have complained in various places on the annoying adds that happen at the top of the page....i have figured out that if you right click the add and click "Rewind" it will make one final noise then stop until you load a new page....this has helped me tremendously and i hope that it does the same for you guys. Good luck. Just post any questions!

...or simply reload the page and a different ad will show up.

We have already established that the ads aren't going to be removed. Just live with them or put up an ad blocker.

DBD, do you use Firefox by any chance? Download the adblock update and install it. I think it automatically gets rid of flash ads? Oh well... if you want to get rid of an ad for good, (sometimes), click the ad. It'll take you to its website. Click the adblock button on the far right and it should bring up a list of things you can block. If you delete everything BUT the website name itself and replace it with *, it will stop the ads coming from that website. (Most of the time, at least.)

And Firefox stops popups, and some downloads. If you want to see a popup or download, a tab below the navigator bar will apear saying that Firefox has stopped a popup. On that tab, hit options and make it show the download or popup that you want.

Stops it until the next page you view. I never see ANY of the ads, even for a second.
