Most of the time that just either adds a group on your list with them under it.. or Just send a message to someone. It's almost always harmless. I'd have to look at it but I'd recommend to just not click it.

Yeah I gotcha. But I don't think Sling is monkey anymore. I think he is more of an independant happy-go-lucky sort-of guy now...I'm not 100% sure, oh well. We'll just have to watch him close ;)

But look at how he was talking.
Something sinister was on his mind.

Looking at the intent of a message/email can often alert you to scams.
Nobody wants to put millions of dollars in your bank account. Your paypal account hasn't been accessed, and they don't need your password to confirm. And somebody insisting you do something, without offering a reasonable explaination generally isn't interested in enhancing your internet enjoyment.

It's been pointed out that it may be an attempt to take your password.
Those programs are usually secret. You don't know you've been targeted, so by the time you find out, it's too late.

It's funny that he sent that today.
Last night I made a post about Phate in somebody else's thread, posting what I think about him. I really let him have it.
The thread was deleted, because it had no point. But my post was there.
Today Slinger messages me, and he never does. I've told him I hate him and to never talk to me. He acted like nothing was wrong.
I found it weird at the time that the monkey sends me that right after I posted about his leader.

Look at that Nigeria scam, where the person is a high level diplomat and they want to put 37 million in your bank account, and let you keep some of it as a coverup.

I was loyal until Slinger and Phate destroyed the clan by going against every principle the clan was formed on.
I was loyal to the clan, never to Slinger and Phate.

When all that controversy with those two allegedly hacking was going on, and when told his account was seen doing things, his excuse was, "It wasn't me, if my account was seen, and I don't think it was, somebody must have been on my account."
I'm not bringing that up to say he did anything.
My point is about what he said about it.
He doesn't seem like a person that would go to great lengths to conceal what he's doing.

Two things are still out there;
Why would he contact me with that, when I've told him I hate him and to never talk to me? Why would he send me a friendship message out of nowhere?
And, why was he so insistant? He really wanted me to click it.
When somebody really insists like that, there's a reason behind it.

Its simply a link that will make your aim write something in the wrod box .. ie: Slinger is the coolest and I love him I clicke don it and it pasted that message aturomatically into my aim and then it sent it. Its quite funny actually. But There is nothing to be worried about.
