A great game with chanty pwnage and a tie

So I decide to test the new additions to the game on legends with my good ol' dropless grey form and I enter the game with this kid with a same side turt as me. except with 2 frostys,3 knights,a scout, a barrier ward,a lightning ward,a cleric, and a furgon. We start the game and I am fearful of the offensive postions off the frostys plus being guraded by the knights and lward. My knight and scout get frozen and a move my assassin around his formation. He furgons up a complete wall while he frosty whores me.His and my lward are weak.
This is where I thought my good plays came in. I force his lward to finish of mine while my witch was behind my lward. I then later sacrificed my scout to charge in under the gaurd of my frozen units (3 turns before I witch burned his scout frosty lward and my lward) with my witch and kill a frosty and kill his scout with my witch. He keeps frosty and furgon wgoring my knight and he kills my witch.(she served me well)
I then get this idea. All his ranged units are gone except his frosty which is extremely busy handleiing my 2 knights.(very well I might add)
I charge my chanty right up the middle.Note: this is a very rare game where I did not barrier my chanty at all. he could not attack it at all in his position gaurding he frosty. I manage to freeze his lward and knight and I was able to kill his lward with my knight.Meanwhile my assasin pushes though with my knight which met somewhere ina ll the shrubs.
Now the fun begins:) Ok all his unit are either clumped or busy except one knight who decides to change my cleric since my chanty is chanrging.. This was brillatint but for one thing. Instead of guardin ght e cleric I boxed his knights in and chantied his frosty AND knight him beiong able to kill mine.
I run away with my cleric and heal then barrier and heal. He cannot move excpet for his lone knight. I try my best to attack his knight but to no availe. He finally catches up to my cleric killing my carrier ward first but I hack away a shrub and he takes the bait perfectly. Instead of guearding against my next move. He attacks my cleric killing it. Im like yay!!! in my head be cause it allows me to do this with my chanty:bigsmile:

I freeze all his units except my assassin and his knight.
I know its is impossble at this point to win knowing I have one assassin left.
I clear space and now I was able to force a draw. I never thought it posible.
In the strangest way also. My chanty was at full health and he could not attack it. If he killed my assassin he could draw the game out a bit nut I would not want it that long.It ending around here.

Now this saddens me. After a whole game of us complimenting wach other he lashes out at me complaining about his stats. It was fine until that and he didnt have to be a jerk. It contiinues after this to him begging me to let him win.

I did not post this to brag at all. Any and all battle reports I make are detailed ones that I think others can learn from. This game included a tie, chanty pwnage, frosty pwnage, and 2 well executed grey turts. A thing I learned, "When you think there is no hope at all. You can try for a tie with a chanty!":)

if i were you ... when he started to complain i would have gone for the win. take out that knight on the far left fast before he could get both knights. then you could have won when he started to complain cause you would have had a mobile chanty ... just relise(sp) the cleric furgon and keep 2 kngihts and the frost. eh mayube im just more mean than you.

You forget his barrier ward is there and my assassin is 1 hit from death plus to effectively hit the knight I would have to hit my chanty or attack from the side where he can move his mobile knight and box me in.

Edit: oh I get it but that was the only time that exact perfect spot would be open. consider this I planed the I would sac my cleric on that turn so I could move my chanty.
If 1 turn more he could either:
1:shrub the spot
2:freeze the chanty
3: move knight there
4:move cleric there(perhaps to lure)

Wow what a game. When i was a grey, the chanty would always win me big games. As a grey, the scout and chanty are my favourite units. But i'm gold, and the Frosty owns!

nice game, but as long as you had a mobile unit the game wasn't over

try and kill the surrounding units at least, the ones that the assassin can hit without hitting your chanty - even if he kills the assassin in the process, its still a draw - hope for him not attacking, or him making a mistake somewhere, but at least try for it, nothing to lose once you have the chanty in place

Yeah that is true I guess...at the time I should have anylytsed more. I had only like 900 stats and he had 1250 or something. I was frankly surprised I even made it that far.;) If I could replay it I would have probly gona all out with assassin on the left knight.
