I had quite an interesting game yesterday, but I couldn't post it then because the forum was havign problems.
I was winning (knight, enchnatress, lward, bward and cleric to just the first three). I moved my enchantress and paralyzed his knight and my barrier ward. He responded by paralyzing my knight and lightnign ward. Since my enchantress was close enough to paralyze his enchantress by moving first, I expected to win, but both my units had a wait of three. I had to pass three times in a row, and of course my opponent just went along with it (I had used and moved my cleric a few turns earlier).

This happens more frequently with dragons. If your opponent has only a dragon left, and you have a unit thats able to sustain at least 1 dragon hit it will be a draw at worst for you.

I have had the same thing where I expected to lose but snuck a draw due to this. Everything on the board was frozen except my opponents pyro. He moved and attacked, i skipped the next three turns as did he and we got a draw. Had he have known he could have moved and refrozen his chanty on the third shot. Its a knowledge thing. Most players know about the forced draw rule and will play around it. Move then attack on the next turn is probably the best option. But I guess this is not always possible.

Back when I was just beginning this happened to me as the person getting the shaft part of the deal... I had a witch, his entire army was frozen except a knight on the other end of the field, I decided to us my witch to widdle down the units inside the paralyzation, so I could free up my units to kill the knight, since his knight couldn't attack my witch without dying. I was so proud because my opponent was 1300 and I was 800, I moved and attacked, we both passed 3 turns, we drawed and he said "GG NOOB".

I later went on to beat him three games straight. He retracted the noob remark :P

Opponent was probably hoping you would make that move. And he repeated it with his chanty, making a stalemate as you had just used your cleric.

It sounds like a worthy game.

Couldn't you have used your lward on noting, or did you not have one?

No he couldn't use it because his opponent paralyzed it.

I had paralyzed that. If I hadn't made that mexact move, I would have lost - his knight was bearing down on my enchantress and cleric (and I think my enchantress was under 22 health). I was planning to use my enchantress to unfocus his enchantress, which would have most likely lost both enchantresses and won me the game since I was a cleric up.

Thank you. I was not aware of this. It has never happened to me and I never thought of it. rep
