A King

hi ppl!

i thought a lot bout it and i think that it would be interesting if there is 1 king in ur formation. the king would be the most important unit on the field that has to be protected the most. one would win if the opponent's king is killed like in chess. so the aim is how to kill ur opponents king the fastest. hope ya like this idea.

the stats:

HP: 40
Power: 19
Armor: 14%
Blocking: 75%
Recovery: 2
Movement: 4
Attacks like a knight

The red box represents your reputation score. You start with ten points, and it goes up or down depending on how people view your posts. You can also give rep to people by clicking on the scales at the bottom left of someone's post. A red box means you have a negative score. Click "user CP" at the top left to see all the reps you have been given, and what your rep score currently is

I like busters idea of a mini game where you need to protect yours but kill your opponents. If it was a game like that the king should have like 100 hp with no attack. My 2 cents :)

I kinda think of the cleric as the king. Killing him doesn't win the game, but if you lose your cleric without taking two or three enemy units with it you are in trouble.

I know many great players that dont use the Cleric and must are rushers and because I turt they win...

In a turt when I am flanked and it looks hopeless I use my cleric as a lure for the scout. Then I chanty the flanking units barrier and voila a pretty good trade if you ask me:) I do think it would be cool if there was a "mini-game server".

If there isn't a cleric, it's a mage bomb. Design your formation as an anti-rush - you will have plenty of time to reconfigure it to handle a turtle. Just have your stone somewhere in the formation so you can switc hto turtle in three turns or so.

Mini-game = training. I do all kindsa weird excersizes with clanmates of this sort. The fact is we can agree to such games without creating new units to do it. However, as others mentioned, this unit does completely change TAO. Two thunbs down, sorry.

I just realized this thing has blocking.... imagine how pissed you could get watching your king get frontaled by a scout four or five times in a row.

The blocking crap would get ridiculous :rolleyes:
