Three!

Is he supposed to be hitting all the pylons?

No, he isn't. Didn't you see? After he hit practically every pylon, there was a big red sign in his screen saying "you failed" instead of a golden G, which someone might get when almost perfecting something in Grand Turismo.

And of course, the kid drove like a complete idiot, not even close to riding the course perfectly.

I don't think you guys are seeing this the way I am. I doubt this kid is even 3 years old yet. He probably cannot put together a complete sentence yet. I doubt he can run without tripping and falling down. BUT...

He can play Gran Tourismo and keep the car on the road. Who cares if he hit all of the pylons...Kids that age are not supposed to have the reflexes that a game like that requires. This is impressive beyond any side scrolling adventure game or fighting game. This kid was driving a car in a 3d world complete with brakes, accelerator, shifting gears and steering. The fact that he can comprehend enough to brake before a turn is phonomenal in and of itself.

I just don't know what to think.

Should I be excited because that kid is indeed doing a lot more than he should be capable of?
Or should I be sickened that this kid was so trained by his parents (or already addicted to this game) that even at that age he's capable of doing this?

I liked Tekken 5 alot

No, it's bloody incredible. It'd just be way more so if he was supposed to get all the pylons.

I probably still can't do what he did, so a 3 year old > me.

Are you serious?

You still think he WASN'T supposed to hit all the pylons?

Of course he was supposed to! That's why he received a gold medal!

I'm so taking back what I said about you in the Mod-thread! :)

Honestly I wasn't paying attention at the end. Don't blame me! On my driving course hitting pylons was bad :(

The pylons indicated the quickest path to be taken around the track. The kid managed to pretty much get them all, meaning that not only did he keep the car on the road, he made the lap in the best possible time.

Yeah, it's bloody insane that a kid can even respond to a game of that speed, let alone that well.

Makes me feel like a half-wit

Makes me feel like a half-wit

Hahahahahaha Why?

Because a 2 (max) year old could perfect a race, you didn't even understand, let alone actually doing it?

You have no reason to feel like a half-wit at all! Don't be silly!

I am so bribing Allstar into banning your ass!

But seriously, how counterintuitive is that? Hit the pylons? Every single driving thing I've ever seen has been DON'T HIT THE PYLONS!

I don't play racing games though.

That's what you get for saying this *Points at WaCk and Nomar* in some particular context :)

Though I must admit that at first I wondered why he was hitting the pylons as well. But after about... uhhh I don't know, 2, 3 seconds I saw him drive the quickest path, I realised that was what he was supposed to do.

But I can imagine how it would take you about 15 minutes, yeah...

...

Now it's time for bed. Good night everyone.

I wouldn't have asked if I didn't notice too!

And you know you earned that comment! You know it!

EDIT* Yeah, the video is fake, the kid isn't playing. Still, it's an impressive job imitating it for a kid that young.

Wimp.com pwns, I've seen you make alot of threads with video from the site Skof. Have you seen "Street Fight", the one between the two huge black guys in someones back yard fighting for money. At the end it shows the loser of the fights eye, which was completely...popped (for lack of a better word) and sticking out of the side of what used to be his eye socket.

It would be better if he was actually controlling the car, or the person who was made the movements he made with the wheel once in a while.

Shhhh. Let them keep their innocent understanding of the video.

It actually looks like the steering wheel is just moving with the car. Like somebody else ran the race and now it showing a reply and the steering wheel mimics the car turns. because even on the straight aways, when the car straightens out, the wheel still turns with the car.

After watching it a few more times, I am still not completely convinced that that kid isn't actually driving.

Nor am I, but others are, and I would like to know which exact part convinced them.

My experience with playing with a steering wheel quite matches with this little movie, so I'm not sure why people are so convinced it's fake.

You also see the little genius grabbing for the normal ps2 controller right after he's done, which could show he's indeed playing the game.

EDIT: If it is fake, than kill the person if not, parents must be genious'.
