Minigame: Lock-in game

I didn't really know where to post this, so I used CAU because you guys are cool :cool:

So anyway, heres how it works.

It's a same side 5 unit rush no meelee units such as an assasin or knight, but beast riders are ok.

Here's the catch with the game, you can't move your unit until the one opposite it is dead. However, any unit can attack any given unit (without movement)

Standard rules should consist of:

1. No DSM
2. No meelee units OTHER than Beast Rider
3. No Cleric
4. No Barrier Wards
5. No Chanty of Frosty

For review:

5 Unit same side rush (remember opposite trashcan and trashcan will produce a same side game) Your units are stuck on their square until the unit opposite you is dead, then THAT unit is free to move.

I think this game should produce a lot of strategic thinking, BUT will only work if appropiate screenshots of cheating are taken.

Not really, LW could take em out, along with scouts and a DT, not to mention a witch after one side pyro has died, which would mean trouble in Bax's perfect 5 pyro set :p

What about a lightning, three frosties and a dragon? (by the way, how would a dragon fit into this? Does it count as one or allow an enemy unit movement right off the bat? Both options seem to skew the game...)

That was a joke, and I think CAU could apply to any sort of TAO invention, you could say all the CAU unit could go in Suggestions Forums.

Also, to the post above this, Dragon Tyrants count as 1 unit in a game like this.

No, CAU means creat a UNIT, not a mini-game. Suggestions are for that. It doesn't matter what you think.

The idea isn't bad, although it would be a little reliant on luck of the draw.

I made a minigame myself earlier, TAO Tank Ball. It should be in the tournament forum's archives, it was a pretty sick idea.

If you like your idea enough, refine it and make a tournament of it. Minigames can work very well and provide a nice break from the typical TAO match.

Bax, to your 5 pyro form. I put a chanty in the center, lightning the pyro opposite her, and bam! all your pyros are frozen and I win.
