This is my first post and I did my reading so hopefully this one isn't that bad. I found only one other post that was close to this one and I hope mine is better well here it goes:

These dogs were as fierce as they were cute and at one time were the King's prized possessions. The dogs being too tied to their vicious background and bloodlines turned on their masters and thus were banished out of the Kingdom. To this day they roam the land challenging any creature big or small for dominance and not matter the outcome fighting to the death

Category: Beasts
Appearance: Two dogs (note: the two dogs always stay in the same square and take up only one unit); no armor just their bare fur; teeth showing

Health: 40
Power: 12
Blocking: 0
Movement: 5

Attack: This unit's attack distance are all the boxes surrounding it like a circle i.e.- XXX
XOX
XXX
And when it attacks it hits all those square whether friend or foe; this is because like their story they turn on their masters. Once it attacks it will hit all those squares and then after your opponents next turn it will automatically attack again. So if you oppenents leaves his units there they will be hit again likewise if you leave your units there they will be hit too. It isn't a focus spell either so if you attack this the war dogs and your opponent attacks your war dogs your war dogs will still automatically attack the next turn. This automatic attack doesn't effect your next turn so you will be able to move another unit and attack with that unit after the war dogs automatic attack. Their attack ability was to try and tied in with the story of them being vicious and fierceless and attacking friend or foe.

Recovery: Because of their "double" attack their recovery time will be 3 if they attack and 1 if they are moved but don't attack

*Notes: I was either going to make the attack range either my circle idea or one that the assassin has but I went with something different

Well lets hear the critisism

I never thought I'd say it.

But...

Way to weak. Also, the attack pattern is too many squares. But i liek the idea of dogs.

I like, but it seems like it has more of a potential. At least you didn't overpower it, though.

Yes the very first mistake all newbs make is OVERPOWERING. You didnt and thats a good sign. Like meat said i also like the idea of dogs just give it a little more "juice".

Would moving its power up to 18 better?

Would it be better to have the attack squares just like the assassins?

The problem as I see it is that while this might be balanced, there is no niche that this unit will fill. It's recovery is too high to be an infiltrator, it is too easily killed to be a defender, and it has the lowest power in the game (excluding mud quake) which makes it a bad main attacker.

I think a lowering of recovery to 2 would do the trick. Parking it near a couple of weak units forces your opponent to choose which will take the full damage.

Once I get enough feedback I'm going to change everything so keep the comments coming. Thanks

Actually, it's a pretty good main attacker. Two attacks is a total of 24 damage! This could slam into a stone cluster with 18 damage to otherwise-unarmored units, allowing only one to escape.
I recommend giving it some blocking so that moving a unit out of the way can easily be an otherwise wasted move (perhaps 60, the same as a scout). A recovery of 2 wouldn't hurt either. Have the second attack not give it recovery time - this would be better for play and also easier for Seed to program (if he were realyl going to put this in).

I like it. I think the power should be 15 or so. The 3 turn wait sounds good. Maybe move the HP up a bit as well.

Fifteen?! That would kill a waiting pyro, witch or cleric instantly! (or at the end of the opponent's turn, whic his practicalyl the same thing).
We can't have a multidamaging walking blockable lightning ward...
