awesome game, first of all.

Okee, so here's how it goes.

Unit analysis: (major differences)
Aez: 2 witches, lightward 3 knights
Azn: 2 scouts, light+barward, 1 knight, 1 Frost golem

Formation analysis:
Aez: spread, offensive, unbalanced
Cleric side defended well but without major armed forces commitment... witches distributed... one side far more offensive than other.

Azn: spread, offensive, unbalanced
Cleric side defended by weighted army, scouts bringing up the far side (ie. nothing useful on that side) lightning ward front and center.

Battle:
Witch war at first. Witches duked it out... neutralized... in the end... one knight neutralized by my golem, 2 remaining knights to my one remaining scout and single knight. Basically game had progressed nicely... with a decent amount of good luck on my side (but not exclusively... damn witch) anyways, game went down to a fortress duel as my cleric was nicely secured... while his was too. finally, i got tired (and didnt wanna be a coward hiding away :( so i rushed my scout through and shot his cleric, betting on the 30% block rate to block at least one of the knight strikes. It didnt. Left with nothing, i surrendered.

must do it again some time...

You only have one knight? Knights own. You should use at least two and in most cases 3

yeah, I like to think of knights as medeival tanks!
