How Kind Are People on Banff?

I went "undercover" on this... I created several noob accounts, and did things like this...
I asked If I they could hold their turn while I went to the bathroom...
people rated 600 - about 950 almost always said no/spent turn immediatly to try to make me surrender, only 7 did not

about half the people I tried this on said sure, the other half just spent their turn normally and ignored me, however, people that tried to scam me spent their turn immediatly

im workin on some other tests right now (Yea, this will influence some people to be nicer, but isn't that what we need, a nicer server? i mean, banff is great, but there will always be scammers and other rude people)

go to another country, ask people that don't speak your language for help. will all of them be nice? no, you then wouldn't say there all rude, or kind..

There really is no point to this test...

You can just observe people in the lobby, say things that nobody would normally say, and see the reaction of other people.

Well any test that you have done..or doing...really isnt accurate at all. Basing a server upon some grey games...doesnt say much. If you want to be a little more precise...go for golds. They represent the server better just because they paid to play on THAT server.

But you still cant link a server to being nice or mean...jus the people who play there.

wolf uses his tur to find the best grey... although they hv very slim chances of surviving....btw.. most of them challenge my tur.... just like i did when i was grey n is not a deletable offense.

how about:

1. Focus your modding more on the grey ppls.... cuz they r mostly the ones who r giving troubles in the servers.
2. Less golds need to be regulated (noobs golds only).... the vets like me knows the drill of the game.
3. Stop crying, be strong, keep your in-game-mod image high... u will need it.

As for me, I'd always wait for a person to go to the bathroom and stuff. I'd get really annoyed though if they perposely draw out time EVERY TURN. *cough:Slyvester scams like that:cough*

I'll admit to being very rude when I'm losing because of a scout side block, or if a block I didn't get changed the game. I would never scam though.

I generally don't rat people out, I just tell them I will report them and that they will be banned. My hope (yea, its probably a dilusional one) is that people will change to a path of good

Well I'm not sure how the other servers are since I only play on Banff, but I think the community's good there. You're always going to have a few spammers, cyberers, and a**holes (Except for when the mods are slammin' the ban-hammer), so it really doesn't matter which server you go to. You'll probably end up liking the first one you go to best.

By the way, what constitutes as scamming? The F5 trick, getting people to say censored words; that kind of stuff?

Because lets say I wanna be an Ahole and s/s a clan match when having some joking scamming fun...but a simple s/s cant say much bout what really happened??

I tend to play on banff.

A few weeks back I tried to fit a quick game in before a lecture. The guy I was fighting seemed alright, so I told him that I didn't have long to play so could we keep the turns quick.

Naturally as soon as I started winning he started extending his turn.

All ended for good however, as told him the lecture had just got cancelled, he surrendered and then was surprised when I turned down a rematch due to lack of time.

Almost as satisfying as beating people who cuss out the whole game.
