CAU Mods

I just thought of this idea. There are a very select few (like CP, Walrus, Mith, and me) who are on CAU alot more than others and have been for a year or so. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to have CAU Mods that could regulate the amount of spam building up in there since no other mods really do.

You're thoughts?

Yeah, then people will get pissed off since like, "Oh, Why cant I be a GL forum mod?"

But, personally, I kinda like the idea, although, I only made like 3 units, so I dont really spend alot of time in there.

If a person makes a unit that's overpowered, silly, lacking in detail, poorly worded, etc., it's still a legitimate CAU thread, and TAO ought not have the authority nor incentive to remove such a post. Normal "spam" in the CAU is as rare as any other forum.

Well, there are those that don't follow any guidelines or that are joke units. I know it'd be a very limited responsibility, but it would be good in those few cases.

Well, no offense, but so would a lot of suggestions.

In few cases, it'd be nice to have no stats

In more than a few cases, it'd be nice for cyber to be a d/c word

In a few cases, it'd be nice to be one of Moose's play testers

These things are hard to implement tho, that onlt the necessary ones are actually made.

Exactly, that some of you kids seem to believe your an authority on making units doesn't make it so. Nor does that belief, or your self appointed positions of authority, mean that you should be given any special responsibilities.

Maybe I should mosey of over to that section and start flaming ars remarks for a while, just to stir up some drama.

There isn't a lot of mod activity in the CAU section because...its not needed.

Because you get a sticky thread on ur lil CAU committee makes you think that you can get special rights and decide what units should or shouldn't be allowed to be posted.

Like Jeffery and Mega said, CAU is just a spam forum, live with it or delete it.

Only about 1% of the units mentioned in that forum are any good anyways.

I agree with the majority of feedback thusfar. I will sympathize with you a bit more Hell, as I don't think people realize how seriously you take CAU, but unfortunately the comments made regarding CAU's place in TAO are accurate. Sorry.
