You probably don't realize it, but cybering is already against the rules and mods that come on and find cyberers can kick them.

Its almost impossible to get rid of all cybering though. I actually enjoy it. Not cybering in general, but the noobs arguing with the mods, eventually getting kicked. Once they get kicked they make a new account.. A name like Mods Suck or something.

When I read the title of this thread, I thought this was actually a suggestion. Something like, "omfg0rz we shuld hve a thing whre if u go /cyber name u can actuly secks with ppl lke the /challenge thing. woldnt tat b kewl? ik im a genis."

Just like Freezer said, placing a word-cencor simply won't help. It doesn't help with any of the other words. Right now, there really can't be anything more that can be done. Mods are already on average kicking 5 people every minute. Soo... do what I do.

What do you think i posted in his neg? I have two modes of noobdealing:
1) Very politely redirecting actions in the thread, or
2) Very politely redirecting actions in a neg

For those who have a general idea of the game but didn't read all the stickes, they get choice 1. For those who don't even know the bare bone basics of the game; what is/isn't allowed, etc get choice 2.


Wolf - you'd be surprised. While people still curse, it's nowhere near as bad as it once was, IMHO. Even if you claim that greys curse just as much, the gold cursing has dramatically decreased. I give a warning, the person usually says sorry, and they stop, usually for a long while. :bigsmile: Really, it does help, despite our still frequent kicks. And yes, I do believe adding cyber to the swear filter list would, at the very least, save mods time from explaining that it's not allowed at least to some population %.

Actually, it would help. People would be able to immediately know it was a word they are not supposed to say, and then when they started using get-arounds to say it, a mod could kick them without bothering to have to explain why they are not supposed to be saying it.

Platinum accounts will be announced in a few days. It gives you an additional 4 floors, which only other platinum account holders can access. You also have a few new functions with your account, including a PM system.
