Loose Turtle Tourney Sign-Ups

[Punishment]

This is a turtle tournament that will follow a different set of rules than most. This will be a single elimination tournament.

I would like to have this be either a 16 or a 32 player tournament.

All Matches will be played on the Revelation Server.

Rules

Your cleric must be where the pink square is, and the stone golem may be in any one of the blue squares.

Everyone must set up on the left side, so that everyone will be on opposite sides at the beginning of the match.

Your stone golem must stone itself and four other units without moving at the beginning of the game.

All of your units must be within the white lines.

No mobile ranged units on the front row Except Dragon Tyrant.

No DSM

No GA

To prove victory, please post a screenshot of your game.

Example:

Let's say that 32 people sign up for the tournament.

They will be broken up into 4 Groups of 8.

In the Group It will be run like this.

A vs H
B vs G
C vs F
D vs E

Once those have finished, it will be

Winner of A vs H vs Winner of D vs E
Winner of B vs G vs Winner of C vs F

After that, it will be the winner of (Winner of A vs H vs Winner of D vs E) Vs the winner of (Winner of B vs G vs Winner of C vs F)

That will leave us with four finalists.

Winner of Bracket 1 vs Winner of Bracket 3
Winner of Bracket 2 vs Winner of Bracket 4

That will leave us with one match to decide the winner of the tournament :)

If we get enough members to participate in the tournament, I may send a message to a moderator and see if we can get a prize, but only once enough people sign up.

Well, with some people i can beat furgons, others i can't.

I just think that they make the game go very slowly, and I, personally, prefer quicker games.

I just prefer games without furgons, and several other tournaments don't allow you to use some units, so this one won't have furgy's =)

It is not only because I dislike furgons that they aren't allowed. I wanted these games to be quick, and furgons have a way of really slowing games down.

Would you guys be happier if furgons were allowed, but no special move? or no restrictions on them?

why have unit restrictions at all?

there's no unfair advantage that an ambusher or dsm gets on opposite sides of the field, especially with the 1st turn wait rule. it sounds like you're making a same side form tourney with opposite side rules, extra lame.

Well, I do know what I'm talking about. How many people ask for a turtle game and say GA are ok?

I personally use a wisp in all of my turts, they are far more useful on legends, but even here they are a big help.

All of these turtle tourneys use alpha rules, thought something different would be nice.

Also, most of the legends server turtles have the stone there, so people who play over there may like it.

Well, in Alpha turt rules the stoney can't be placed in front of the cleric, that is the major difference.

Which is why it is a 'loose' turtle tournament.
