I'm not sure if this has been done but I think we need something in the log in and the servers that should look like a small box and scroll buttons and under it a thing that says save name
This would allow people with longer names be able to save their screen name. This would only save it on their computer not a whole internet wide thing or too many names would be on but people could just click their saved name in the box and it would appear in the user name part and then they could just type in their pass making it much easier.

note: this would be on the servers not the forums for people who didn't quite get what I am saying

So your talking about people with long names who want to login have there names saved well they should no how to spell there name if its theres wouldn't they.

It's too bad Firefox doesn't do it for the servers.

Firefox doesn't do it cause tao runs flash, you can't do that stuff to flash...

If you have that complicated of a name, then you have 2 choices:

1) Use a normal name
2) Save it in a text file, then copy/paste it when needed.

Yes, but if they make the choice, then they also choose to have to deal with it anytime they want to log in.

There is no problem, because no one forced them to take the name.

my sentiment exactly, when I ran DF I actually was pretty biassed against people with long names and alt chars. I wouldn't invite someone or play anyone if I couldn't spell out their name with minimal effort.
