For clans that don't use forums, this could save the hassle for recruiting for the clan.

/recruit

Uses

For members: When you type /recruit Example, Example will then be added to the clan recruitment list.

For leaders: When you type /recruit, a list pops up with all the recruitments made by clan members, including the member who recruited the person. To restrain huge lists, recruitments more than a week long will be automatically deleted. Invited members will be taken off the recruitment list. A leader can also take off a person from the recruit list by simply typing /recruit [namehere].

For clanless golds: When you type /recruit, you can see which recruiting lists you are currently on.

If you had this feature you would have basically a huge list of n00bs, lamers and annoying ppl. It would basically keep filling up ur page and would probably be endless to an extent.

Anyways, it's not hard to ask to join a clan. Just look around in the game and ask someone if u can get recruited.

Well, I mean, there could be a limit on the list, such as 10 people.

Most clans have their own forums where this kind of things is done. Doing it in game would not help much, as the recruit would still have to be online to be invited anyways.

Just have a recruit thread in the private forums, where clan members put up those they want to suggest for the leaders to look for, and the issue is solved.

Pffft. I don't think this would work out. Too many n00bs to deal with.
Also, some noobs or nebs in the clan might spam up the list. Even a limit to the list might not stop it. It's basically just a useless extra step. Let the leader do the inviting.

good idea i like it there would have to be limtis to get on the list like 800= or higher stast requirement other wise it would be noobs on it

How about this: You use that exact rule but with a certain stat rating so leaders would first have to type:
/recruit list [gold]stats>1200
/recruit list [grey]stats>1000
to keep things tidy.

Then only players that meet these requirements could sign up.

Which basically means u;d have to program new features just to use this option. No, it's not worth it.

instead of wasting the time to code all of this and test it and everything, the clan could have forums way before its done.

wow i never thought of that, Monkus just saved people from making forums and can still have a recutires list
