I have got all 16 players required for the tourney and have got it TAL approved, which means points and prizes can be won. I have randomly pulled the names out of a hat to determine who plays who in the first round. If anyone has any complaints and thinks the draw is unfair please let me know. I will happily redraw my own match should my integrity be questioned. Remember, it is the best of 3 games. For all information and rules please see the following thread:

I will need a screenshot from the winner for all games. I would also like a screenshot from the start of the game to ensure correct setups were used. Please post your wins in this forum. Thankyou.

If the Hit Points are of any consequence, his Scouts had 29 and 11 HP, respectively; my Furgon had 47 HP. Every other unit's HP was full and every unit in play had Stone focus.

The first one was also very close. Our forms were not cut out for one another, so we ended up playing a very difficult game to a standstill.

I have to go to a college seminar on Wednesday and 343 won't really be much available Tues.-Thurs., so we'll be playing next Fri.-Sun... :)

i lost with Match Strike. It was very long a close game. gg strike ;)

Yes, it was first game. Another two we will play after 10 hours, when he wake up.

Anyway, s/s if needed, but I am lazy to post it now.

We played our first game. We both used a "usefull" set. his consisted of scouts and dragon as the four extra units, I had scouts, mud and wisp. We both furgoned a little and I took the offensive, flanking him, taking his cleric, frost, and barrier ward. I don't have an s/s of the beginning of the game, but I lost only wisp; all my required units are there at the end, so you know I didn't cheat : )

The final units makes it look more one-sided than it was. It was tough getting around his dragon, and it took me a while to get in position to go on the offense. Were it not for some tricky scout work I might have lost mud golem early, and gotten nothing in trade. Good game Bubo.

It's 1:00 in the morning here so we're going to play the other games in 10 hours.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I have an s/s too if it's really necessary.

Good work everyone. Looks like there have been some pretty good games. Im still trying to get my own games played. All others please try and play your round 1 games ASAP also.

343 HeadHunter hasn't logged on in the forum since 04-06-2004, roughly 11 days ago.

Additionally, I haven't seen him in-game... I will confess to not having made a forum attempt to track him, but it looks like it wouldn't have made a difference... What now?

Ok this round is now officially over.

Unfortunately,as tournament director I have made the following decisions.

* Weeman is disqualified. He made no effort whatsoever to reply to either my own, or Forest_Archer's attempts to contact him. He is out and F_A is into round 2 the easy way. Congrats

* Due to 343's inactivity, I am declaring LT the winner of their rounds, as he is 1-0 up currently. This is a painful decision, as I respect both players a lot and would have loved to see the final outcome. Apologies to 343, but I have gotta get on with the tourney and start round 2.

If anyone has any queries or disputes about this please PM me directly or post here.
