Well, I decided to come chill in GL this morning only cuz I was kinda in the mood for a Turtle game and no one was rev. Anyways, I ran into M@u, after about 15 minutes of me asking people for turt games, He challenges me, I figure 1358...I might be able to take that due to my large inactiveness.
As the game started, I ended up looking down at a same side turtle, My double cleric turtle that I have been working on for a while, against his side stone cluster with 2 knights, all the basics, except the extra knight came in instead of a furgon. We got about a half hour into the game, and I made some major mistakes throughout, such as leaving LOS holes open, misclicking, and looking at the wrong move at the right time.
About 35-45 minutes into the match, He swapped his muddie for my furgon (considering even with dual clerics, I wasnt really going to save it) And went on a stronger offensive. He knocked out my stone soon later with a dumb LOS I mentioned earlier I should of saw, Since my stone was knocked out, and his overgrowing dominant position on my form, I had to knock out his stone, which I did next turn by sacrificing my mud golem.
After he paralyzed it, I noticed another mistake I made, which was miscounting all of the possible angles the frostie could paralyze from, M@u seemed to pick up on that immediatly. Never the less, I tried to push the game, only to find him bringing my Dt down to 15 health, and a scout to 14. His Units were pretty badly damaged also by the time, and since I had the dual clerics, I could outlast him with the damage ratios if needed.
I lost my scout, for his scout soon after, and saw I was left with a DT, Stone, two clerics, Scout, and Frost golem left, while he had a more dominant position, with a scout, Dt, 2 kngihts, stone and cleric, and frost. He pushed frostie down, after I was able to frost a knight and kill it. He used my old shrubs for cover that I had planted earlier in the game to block off Dt moves. So, I had to use my frost golem and bring it down to nearing critical health to take out the scout, which I did. Soon after, all It came down to was using my clerics and blocking off the Dt and Knight range for frost to take it.
It was a great game M@u, your one hell of a good player. Also, I apologize that no s/s were provided, I was kinda into the game lol.
