/sort

I think that it'd be cool to have a function in the servers where you could type /sort in the lobby and the list of people in the lobby would be sorted. Not alphabetically, but from the player with the most stats to the one with the least stats. In Great Lakes, Banff, and Armageddon, the golds would be sorted, as well as the greys, but they would still be kept separate.

Edit: The idea is okay.. but I don't really see a major need for it. You can just stat all the golds in the lobby (doesn't take very long), or not care..

Well I think it would help a lot. . . you know, good greys are sometimes hard to find, especially because there are usually over 25 in the lobby.

Well, I can see this being useful to some people, but it would take away the usefulness(sp?) of /stat.

yeah because good greys like to play 1000+ greys and those dont jump u often or u cant seem to jump the right ones so u no who is good and who isnt. i would use it

I would REALLY feel bad for seed if I saw this implemented. I am learning Java at school and we had to make sorting methods and algorithems... not fun.

Then all the grey jumpers will go /sort then prey on the weaker greys, and not have any risk at all, even though there was barley any risk in the first time. It is a good idea but I would rather not see it happen.

Sounds ok, but as mattroe said that grey jumpers wont have any risk if they do this they will just find the n00bs and kill them :(

they do that anyway. this is more beneficial then not. using this i could jump good greys with my grey set in stead of having to flawless n00bs alll the time.

It is more beneficial than not, I agree, but it would take up unneccessary server space which could be solved by taking 2 minutes out of your day to find the right person, instead of lagging the servers, or making them smaller.

I'm sure Seed is busy working on whatever he is doing, he doesn't need any idea that is basically a lazy method -- yes, typing /stat over and over is annoying, but asking for a /sort method IS just a way of saying "do it for me."

oh now i get it, first i thougt it was a /sort thing but then i thougt that wud be too hard to do, so then i thougt maybe he was meaning the lobby shud be sort into stats, just like it is with alphabet order....
did you mean an actully feature into changing the lobby for yourself only to see? or like i sed maybe insted or abc its ranks....
