Settings for post-figure

This idea is simple... I did a search and found no matches, please correct me if I'm wrong.

You go to your usercp, and can set the post format you wish.

Such as if you wish to type in color, a different font, or paragraph format.
It would look like: ( . means [ )

Color coding: .color="teal"]
Bold: ./b]
Underline: ./u]
Italicas: ./I]
Font: .font="comic stans"]
Paragraph format: I dont know.. :(

Anyways, feedback?

The idea is alright. kinda.

The downfall is simple. To do this kind of thing would require a forum modification or hack. And Sergiy has clearly stated that TAO will not be installing any such thing.

So, yes, the idea has merit, but the implementation has already been denied by Sergiy under a blanket denial.

So, to make it that you don't have to put [COLOR=TEAL] before every post, you want this implemented? It was your choice to post in color. It's pretty useless to implement this for the very few people that use different colors or font styles.

Justified suggestion, but the room for abuse is tremendous. I mean, siggies exist because people didn't want to type Sincerely, [insert name/symbol/whatever here]. They *adapted* from that for banners and other objects you want the public to see on each post. I would see some font saving ability to be "adapted" (abused) in a similar manner. I could point to a number of users who tended to end every entry, outside their siggy with stupid catch phrases ("keep it real!") or crappy pictures.

So, better idea then most here. No, probably won't happen. Sorry.
