It come more as a question than suggestion. I left the game about a year ago, and coming back, I found everything is still much the same. No new units, no new battlefields... etc. So how come the development seem at such slow pace?

TA has such high potentials, to add much more new things (and opening up new markets) I can see it being bigger than it is now.

Obviously you haven't bothered to look around, which is fine by me. Leave more of this wonderful game for me. If you're in the mood though, try reading up on all the units, or even noticing the brand new one. There have been a lot of changes actually.

that and the developer is working on a different project as well

"a lot" is sorta being generous to my eyes though, how about...a few?

Compared to the progress the previous year, I'd say this last batch of updates was "a lot". But you're right, there are only a few, but too much change is never a good thing, at least not too quickly.

The dates are not exact, as these are from the Digis site which archives it's news... But all of these changes ARE here.

Revised blocking system
The blocking system makes compensations, basically lowering blocking chance when a unit blocks too much, or raising it if it doesn't block enough.
Some players understood how to calculate this compensation, allowing them to predict hits or blocks sometimes. To be more fair, the bonus to blocking is now shown to everyone.

Unit changes
Golem Ambusher
- Attack range is now 4 to 5 tiles
Poison Wisp
- HP is now 30

Initial Recovery Time
A new rule has been added today:
Damage and Poison units begin a battle with movement recovery, and the player who goes second will have 1 wait turn cleared as if they passed at the start.
What's Movement Recovery?
That's the number of turns a unit can't be used after moving (but not attacking). All the current damage dealing units have 0 or 1 movement recovery only.
Adjust your forms to meet the new challenge!
Hint: Immobile units, such as the Lightning Ward, have no movement recovery at all.

Challenging opponents
A new command has been added:
/challenge [name]
This command is available to Gold accounts.
It can be used to challenge grey accounts also.

Login queue
There is now an automatic queue for logins - No need to click over and over again anymore when the server is full!
Simply enter once, then go do something else until you hear the sound alert letting you know that you are logged in.
Gold accounts bypass the queue of course. : )

Refining the game play rule and adding new features are changes, but I think it is still a low-level development, since it didn't really add any "newness", or feature that would attract more player. There is not much new marketable contains, such as "Come play our new Elf units!" and such. (I think there is a great market to sell the units much like the collectible card games, but that is another topic)

I left about almost 2 year ago, and coming back, still not see much new (beside the new pretty painting on the home page)

Its not a rant, just a wellfull wish that this game will do better, since it is such a great game.

make it 1.5 year than (sorry I didn't mark it on my calender...)

Not liking something is very differnt from thinking something is good, but could be greater.

1.5 years would make it within the realm of the Wisp, The Ambusher and The Berzerker being new units.

So there are 3 "new elfs" right there.
