new blocking rule

i say that we form a petition to have the new blocking rule taken away i really dislike it,i liked things the way they were before,
everyone that agrees with me tell why here and hopefully we can change it

I actually really like the new blocking system. So if your knight has +160 blocking, and he doesnt block. You and you opponent know your getting screwed.

I believe the new rule helps out rushers. You hit the Dmw and all of a sudden it has a 10 times higher chance of blocking. The rule isnt all that bad but it does throw things off a little.

The rule, my little noob, has been in effect for quite some time now. This most recent update simply lets you *see* the blocking changes. Regardless of this, the ability to have units alter blocking based on hits or misses was around long before you could see it, so this update changes nothing past your perception of the game. With that being said, your claims drops to nothingness - please stop with this thread.

Fot those who don;t know, the blocking rules themselves are NOT new, and have been here for quite a while. Seed did tweak them a bit, but the chance of a unit blocking after being hit has been going up for more than a year now.

The ONLY major difference is you can now see the affects of hits/blocks

If you have FireFox, get the extension Adblock, it helps a bit.

But of course, there are like 100000000+ ads on these pages.

I have to say...im with Tidus on these new displayed blocking odds. I find them really irritating; playing the odds was something that took me ages to learn to do. It was an advantage to me in a game because it was an extra skill that I had over my opponent. Now people aren’t jus taking chance shots at pieces, they know the likelihood of hitting a piece.

But Tidus....jus to say...I value other peoples opinions, and telling people not to post in this thread because they don’t agree with you isn’t really fair.
