-Vote not to rate feature in game (/unrate)
-Unrated game option AT CREATION
-Private Games (because people jump in when you try to play someone, which is especially damning when you try a new set up and wanted to play against a clan member so it didn't count)
-SQUELCH (/squelch [username])
case in point: bradley wright 890
Woah! I found an unpopped cherry
They have added the /challenge feature as well as the grey chat filter over the years.

Holy shit, Bradly Wright 890 was a long time ago. The Real Bradley Wright 890 shared his gold account with me. It was my first gold account. But a few months later somebody hacked the account and i quit Tao for a year or so. can somebody please give me the history on this account and why it is well known?
BTW: wat is squelch?

Stupidity like this drives me insane. YOU'RE ON A FRICKIN COMPUTER, YOU HAVE A DICTIONARY AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!

Do people actually try things for themselves, or is all information spoonfed to our youth these days? Are you lazy or has the thought just never crossed your mind to investigate your own answers?

No. Use AIM or the PM system here or join their clan.
-Vote not to rate feature in game (/unrate)
In other words choose to not have stats? No. That defeats your whole competitive purpose to play the game. It's still playable, but meh...
-Unrated game option AT CREATION
What?
-Private Games (because people jump in when you try to play someone, which is especially damning when you try a new set up and wanted to play against a clan member so it didn't count)
The challenge feature is there for you if you go gold.

Again, what?
Edit: And no, I fully do not care about the original post date.

You should, and you do. You just won't admit it.

Lol, I agree.
Blazer, that was a pretty pointless rant considering the date of the post, the fact that these were good suggestions for that time, and the fact that 2 of them were actually implemented (in one way or another).
Nice find nads.

So, Squelch means to crush or compress? Why would you want to crush an account..

Jesus, did you read past the first definition?
2. to put down, suppress, or silence, as with a crushing retort or argument.
Words can have more than one meaning, and that meaning can often be inferred from the context of its use. If the first definition doesn't make sense for the situation, it must be another one. In other words, USE YOUR BRAIN!

Since I wrote the original post over three years ago, I'm not entirely sure. But I'm pretty positive he was spamming the crap out of the lobby. Either this was before the "greys can only post once every x seconds" policy, or he was gold. (I don't remember)
That assumption makes sense, since the suggested remedy was a squelch feature. I still think it would be nice to be able to silence one person rather than everyone who's grey, but w/e...

ok thx, I shared the Bradley Wright 890 with the original one a few years ago until it got hacked. He put the password as 890, it was such a stupid password. I was suprised it didnt get hacked earlier than it did.
