I have a suggestion I have not heard before but I may have missed it elsewhere.
Is there a way for us golds (or everyone) to store more than the one unit layout in Settings? I think 5 would be enough.
As more pieces become available I want to try lots of different layouts but I dont want to lose (or have to reset up) my main killer reliable one.
For instance, I now have 2 witches, I want to try them out but I dont use them at all now so it would require a 100% makeover if I attempt to go back and forth.
Having these stored layouts would allow players to adapt more quickly to various opponents' styles (in an informal 3 game match for instance, OR if you were familiar with the other guys layout (which will become the rule as time goes on))
For instance, currently, if I plan to play xyx(for instance), I spend time setting up a force to specifically attack him, then I try to place down and get jumped by a noob and waste 1/2 hour for 3 turns after which the noob quits, I get back to the lobby and xyx is gone. And then I have to put the layout back to rights afterwards.
Oh, also having a grey-pure setup handy would help, as suggested by Dakar.
I'm sure these xtra unit layouts would only take a few bytes to store and would add alot more variety and experimentation in gameplay.
