Round 2 will end on May 1st, giving players 10 days to complete their matches. All brackets and byes were determined randomly. Be sure to send a private message to your opponent in order to set up the match. If your opponent does not reply to your private message after a few days, post it in this thread. If I see that your opponent is being inactive, I will disqualify them. Screenshots are only needed if there is some sort of dispute, so just in case, be sure to take one after every match.

He played well in the opening and got a bit sloppy at the end, allowing me to come back and finish off his scout so my chanty could force a draw. I'd just like to say for the record, that though we both made mistakes, he would have won for sure (in my opinion) if my pyro hadn't blocked from the side early on in the game. There's no question he's better than me but I think I can make him work for it. I did have to come back from a HUGE disadvantage to get that draw and I'm proud of that.

This didn't turn out very well at all. We both made an effort and we both played a game so it doesn't seem like either of us should get kicked out. But Wolf didn't make it on our scheduled day and didn't communicate efficiently with me to reschedule (see this thread) and I have poor availability this weekend and the times I can be on aren't good for Wolfman. To be fair, I don't want it to be forgotten either that I had more luck in our draw game. If my pyro hadn't side-blocked in the beginning I feel pretty confident I'd have lost instead of drawn. And Wolfman probably has a better chance of winning the tournament than I do. Sorry x-useme, I don't envy you the decision you'll have to make. I guess you can't run a tournament without facing some like this though. I'm okay with whatever you decide. Either way Wolf, I'd like to play you again sometime if we can manage to find each other. All our games have been very good ones.

Battle summary:

Ciompi tried to pull a fast one on the game by setting a 2 pyros n no chanty set (good for same side). Oops, wolf is on the other side. Wolf drive 2 knights down his defense, waiting for ciompi to make his moves n go aggressive when the time is right. Also, wolf uses distraction assassin on the LW right flank, trying to sneak in when ready. Wolf sniped his DMW n waiting for his turn to sneak in his assassin. Ciompi did not heal nor neither bwarded his DMW, instead he went for a front hit on wolf's scout with no combination knight assault on it, wolf's assassin went in for the dmw kill. Ciompi's knight went down to chase wolf's scout, wolf retreated scout in his lward range n healed. Ciompi's knight go for the attack n wolf's scout blocked. Ciompi's knight might be in trouble cuz it will be lwarded, dmwed n surrounded by 2 knights n the sneaking assassin n will not be able to retreat or heal on time.....which ciompi already down by 1, knowing that he will be down by another knight soon, ciompi called it a day.

gg ciompi, u knew the risk if u make a set just good for same side grey.

Yeah I took a risk. I haven't been playing enough lately and I know while I can make you work for it in a traditional corner turt game, it's your playing field and you'd have the edge. I wanted you off your playing field. Why play to your stengths when I don't have to? From what I've heard and seen, I think you and Hool are the only people in this tournament that are better than me by a fair margin. I think I still could have won that game as I've won games like that before but I messed it up. Inexperience and lack of practice kind of did me in, as well as loss of the fifty/fifty toss. Considering the circumstances, I figured it was the best shot I had. And of course, that scout side block really messed me up, as well as my dumb DMW move. I'm glad we played though. It would have stunk to get kicked out. Good game Wolf, I hope you win the tournament.

right ciompi, battle with u in grey is really a challenge, so much so that it makes me recall that type of challenges when wolf played bot or real, in which both of them r excellent grey ppls.

u r an excellent grey, props to u ciompi, wolf see one great potential in u in your grey skilz and is to be recognised.

it is true that practise and experience do count when u play a vet like wolf, wished u were my final match, in fact u stunned me as a Netjakker with such a great grey skilz (no offense to 12 n his clan fellowers :P), normally such skilz dominates certain clans like SIers, BGers, Outkasters n Dawgs (just a few to mention, mostly turtler-based clans).

well hool is out of the BST grey tourney for inactivity, there are perhaps still another outstanding ppl like u ready to take on wolf, one advise though fellas, u got to work for it.

This aint over yet until the fat lady sings.
