Hi. I started the game about 5 hours ago. Love it.
I got some questions though.

Do the Golems apear randomly?
How long ago was this game "released?"
Are there any other games like this avalible online? Single player or Multiplayer?
Do you get access to anything extra without buying a gold account? This place seems rather new, and I would prefer to wait until there are more features before I pay...
How is the Tactics Arena Online group affiliated with the Tacitcs Core group? Any plans of a large scale one player mode?
If you are a gold member do you get autokicked from the lobby?

This game is definatly very cool. But I do beleive there are many things that could be done to improve it. For instance:

Offer draw button.
A "ready" button.
More units.
Remove the enter/exit messages, they just flood and prevent chat.
More room on the server.
An experience point system.
Something to keep experienced players from fighting noobs.
A way to get a players stats without having to type it in.
Possibly a rewards system for getting new players to come here and/or pay for membership.

At any rate, I wish the group in charge of this game much success.

I can try to answer some of these questions till one of the mods shows up :D
1) golems are for goldies *sniffle* we cant even get new troops... you just need to kinda pray for one of those little random troop drops (5 a day i believe)
2) Game was released last last night and it's the 23 of november now (early morning) (WHY AM I AWAKE?)
3) Tactics core is the basic "core" of this game... you can find it online at places like addictinggames.com or newgrounds.com. it's only single player, but it's still fun. Otherwise, you'l probably not find a tactics game this fun online for multiplayer (and, currently, free  )
4) Gold: You dont get kicked out (Hallelujah sounds) after playing, you get troops, you look spiffy (woot).
5) Digis... Digis... *throws up hands, has no idea of answer*
6) answered.

Game rules, woohoo :)

-1.5 Days here at FPS

-Duno

Do you get access to anything extra without buying a gold account? This place seems rather new, and I would prefer to wait until there are more features before I pay...

-You already get alot of features and new guys, 3 off the start and already a new one coming out a Dragon...and it is as cool as it sounds.

So far 4 new units only Gold Accounts get plus a few standard ones, and this is all in the first week. Support from players is needed to expand.

How is the Tactics Arena Online group affiliated with the Tacitcs Core group? Any plans of a large scale one player mode?
If you are a gold member do you get autokicked from the lobby?

-Seed, is the lead developer of both games, no plays for single mode. Gold Accounts do not get auto booted.

Offer draw button. (good idea)
A "ready" button. (good idea)
More units. (in place Gold Accounts)
Remove the enter/exit messages, they just flood and prevent chat. (good idea will add option switch)
More room on the server. (need more Gold Accounts)
An experience point system. (in place already)
Something to keep experienced players from fighting noobs. (nothing them's the breaks)
A way to get a players stats without having to type it in. (comeone now we can code everything hehe)
Possibly a rewards system for getting new players to come here and/or pay for membership. (ideas?)

At any rate, I wish the group in charge of this game much success. [/B][/QUOTE]

Thank youf or the great feedback and details.

Actually, I think the Dragon sounds like a terrible idea. I'm thinking of it being way over the top. I hope that's not the case. No offence intended, BTW.

In a different game I play they have a referal system. It's basicly the cheap man's way of getting what the rich man can afford to buy. It's a referal system in which you get a "point" if someone comes and pays money. The game sells keys rather than a monthly subscription. For every 1 keys someone under you buys, you get one.
Something to this effect would not only let the cheap men play with the rich men on the same plane, it would add incentive for bringing as many new, paying players in.
When a new player joins they enter the name of whoever refered them (or it is automatically put in if someone refers them through a link.) an that user gets a percentage of the bonus. This level could be made rather hard to acheive and the bonus be simple but permanent, so that a paying member has the same incentive. Maybe extra basic units that never get removed.

What is the current experience system? I must have missed that in my bored travels of the site.

Oh, and thanks for the answers, and for answering over Azn's. Although I appreciate the input from him, it is nice to get it straight from the sorce.

Problems with that are expoilts and other hassles as people take advantage of the system.

Will exp system will be published once it is stable (soon).

How could this be exploited? I'm saying they only get points towards their rewards if their person signs up for a Gold Member account.
Will the experience incorperate what we have already played?I doubt it, but I'm just checking.

No one appreciates spam, Azn. What happend in the game? You just disapeared.

Actually I think it will, we will make all efforts to save current data, even if it is only a day old.

I'm not in for a flame war, i answered cuz i had some of them and didnt know when bills would be around to answer.

Oops, sorry. Let me clarify.
"I'm just chatting idly, dont mind me" This seemed a bit spammy to me... don't worry about it, I'm just letting my obsessive compulsive desire to have a clean forum show through on a forum that isn't even mine.
The last sentences were not related to spam. I'm sure we will meet in the lobby again some time...

Yea, so far as the game goes, i'll keep an eye out for you.

hey SEN, ill just have u know, that AzN is a wicked dude. hes been here from like, the start and hes also a gold member, see?

also, he beat me in a game (no matter how unfair i thought it was) fairly, which add to his gratification. im sorry if IM offended by this and that makes u mad, but AzN rules, probably more than i do.

and spamming is not posting a single message to notify people that ur reading whats going on. spamming is posting over and over useless junk that just makes everything pointless. so id get my facts straight Sen.

ok, im done ranting, have a nice day everyone!

ciaoz:cool:

"Spam" is defined as: "To post irrelevant or inappropriate messages to
one or more Usenet newsgroups, mailing lists, or other
messaging system in deliberate or accidental violation of
netiquette."
In other words, to spam is to post a message with no relation to the topic.

I am also a Gold Member, as if that is important to whether or not someone "rules" or not.
A non Gold Member has as much credability as a Gold Member. Just because someone is willing to pay 5 dollars for some extra benifits, they aren't better than everyone who isn't.

im saying that hes paying money to play this game, so he isnt exactly going to spam people...

anyways, lets drop it. i was being kinda stupid. sorry Sen:(

wow, that kind of escalated unexpectedly.

it happens.

but i was pretty sure this thread was dead, i really dont see any reason for it to continue. My first post on this thread had every element of pertinence and upon sen's denial of it, i acknowledged his lack of need to read what i post. From there, he called my acknowledgement spam whereupon i tried to end the confrontation. Bills stepped in, sen stepped down, and then yazz jumped in and inflamed the whole thing again. No one's in the right, just drop it.
