Barrier Ward

Additional Rules

You will need a screenshot to prove your win.

There will be 32 players.

You will be randomly selected an opponent for each round.

Rounds

Round 1 - 1 week
Round 2 - 5 days
Round 3 - 3 days
Round 4 - 3 days
Round 5 - 3 days

Round 1 - May 12th - May 19th
Round 2 - May 20th - May 25th
Round 3 - May 26th - May 29th
Round 4 - May 30th - June 2nd
Round 5 - June 3rd - Jun 6th

You're basically just replicating the Beast Wars Tournament (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14037).
Had you continued the PM correspondence instead of just posting the tournament, I could've told you that.

That tourney ended years ago. It's not like you'd be competing with it, but this tournament wouldn't be original.
Duff's tourney actually went pretty well, but with the new units it'd be different. However, a more creative tournament would be cooler.

For the record, I did get second at that tournament when I was still relatively unknown :cool:. Damn you Orlandy for beating me.

I just want to say 1 thing. Although I really like that you have specific dates for the start of each round and hope that you enforce those dates with dq's I think you should change the last two rounds from 1 day to like 3. 1 day could be really tough in some cases.

the bird has a good point, you'll be hard pressed to get the signups and matchups ready before your first round "ends". Push it back a week or two, at least.

I sent IcyLizard901 a PM, but it looks like he hasn't even logged on since the start of May.

We've got more than 16 sign-ups, most of whom would still be interested.. I could take over, or at least organize a tournament exactly the same as this one. I want some practice running a tourney anyhow, and better to screw up someone else's than my own :p

I don't really want to just steal this away from someone without asking first, but, how do I contact IcyLizard if he doesn't log on?

In any case, keep signing up for this and someone will likely host it.
