It's really about time, I have been waiting for a long time. I hope the story is a bit better than last one. Over all Halo 2 was good, but this should get better, and maybe even defeat this enemy and have another enemy. Well its time to have some different enemies, and better gameplay direction like; helping out along the mission telling where you need to go, and a better map. I would like to have a map that is under water like; a city under water, that would be a awesome map. Oh yes! Don't forget better weapons, and more hit points, some of the units you play, it take like 5 minutes to destroy, and not to mention those huge aliens, they take forever to kill. I'm really happy about the new one coming out.

I can NOT believe that. It takes me an hour to beat 2 missions:dry:
It hurts my head, neck and gets boring after like 40 minutes. And those huge aliens, if you are talking about Hunters, all you have to do is shoot their back.

I want Halo 3 badly, the news of it coming out already spread in Xbox live months ago. The only problem is affording the damn Xbox 360. Halo 2 Live is just annoying. I got to level 27, I stopped for a couple of days and then I suddenly sucked. Got de-leveled all the way down to 22. Credit card got canceled. No more Xbox Live. :(

The only way they beat the game in two hours, is if they were not on a high level, if you play legacy, it should take forever. But if you are a n00b and do easy, the game doesn't take that long to beat.

I beat the game on all level, and each level only took about four to five hours to beat, if you are good. I beat Legacy in 7 hours, though it is hard, and it has been a long time since I played Halo 2.

I hope the Commander has more flying abilities, and weapon choices, and weapons hold more amunition.

No offense to Zot..but that seems to be all people are hoping for from this game...which is lame and boring.

Are some people actually stuck in that large a rut where this is all they want out of a game?

The truth be told, I only care about it now.

After I beat the game, I will most likely never play it again, like I have done; Halo, and Halo 2, and soon Halo 3.

I don't consider my self a front runner, but I just like the story of it. I;m not sure why, but war and battles just get my blood running good.

I'm not one of those Halo freaks, if this is what you are referring to.

I actually sold my collector's edition Halo2 online last month for $100 on Ebay :)

But really though, I'm not even gonna buy the game in all likelihood. Halo 2 blew monkey spit (aside from the multiplayer..which had its iffy parts). I mean, yah, chance in hell that they could match what they did on the first game...but revamping the graphics, making MC hold 2 guns, and adding like 1 new enemy type...whoopie. Its not even worth the bother of mentioning the plot line, and there weren't really any gameplay changes.

Let me guess...
For Halo3, they'll restack the graphics again. Make it so MC can now hold 3 guns (up to you to figure out which member he holds the 3'rd one with ;)), and they'll introduce the new enemy class "fishman"...the newest race of the covenant...which also happened to mysteriously appear this time around...while you weren't looking.

The game it self is overrated, and people actually thought if they didn't play Halo they are not cool. And lets not forget to mention the Halo adds, they spammed websites and Gaming magazines. I remember when Halo first came out, they fluttered the magazines, well who wouldn't blame them.

To tell the truth, I hated original Halo, it was really boring, but they made Halo 2 sound really good, and I fell for it.

Also, I play the Halo Trial on PC like, every other day in 3rd block. We play on the schools LAN and we can usually get 7 guys in the class to play. It's okay, but it's _SO_ slow, FPS's like TimeSplitters with their blinding speed are just so much better. Also, TimeSplitters has Sherriff Skullface.
