Hey guys, I have to do an oral presentation on the Holocaust, I've sat through half the class already, barely staying awake, I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how to keep people awake and interested in my presentation. :)

Get someone to dress up in clothes worn by persons on concentration camps. And then at regular intervals, have one of them "executed". Keep the number killed to the total number relevant to the percentage of persons killed during the holocaust, so at the end you can show the relation.

people still can get bored with a PP. Just bring an airhorn and blow it everytime someone seems to be getting drowzy. I did it myself because I was falling asleep while giving my presentation because I didn't want to present the project in the first place. It was boring to present. Trust me, it works. It's really loud. Others had their eyes wide open so I wouldn't have to blow it

Edit - Jeff, it's too high a number of people. You'd have to pay them to get killed and that's a lot of money to give.

probably like each person represents 1 million. Cause That way you only use like 6 people, instead of half 120 people... I think there were 6m killed in the holocost, right?

I did that once for a Holocaust project -- went over well. I used my gramps.

Heres the way i look at oral presentations. I'm there to get a good grade, follow the rubric, and entertain the teacher. Not to entertain my classmates. Just use some interesting facts, and try to look for some unusual facts not many people know about.
