The Arcadian Knights vs. †Hells Angels† ... Clash of the titans!

All right... Awhile back, The Arcadian Knights challenged †Hells Angels† to a war on the Great Lakes server... Originally they declined, but now they're available for war again!

War is scheduled to begin on Monday May 15, 2006 on Great Lakes. As usual, this will be a friendly war.

A few ground rules will be laid out below:

- Each member in the war is entitled to ONE (1) gold or grey account for use in the war. In the event of multiple accounts used in the war, all accounts by that user will be disqualified from the war.

The only exception to this rule will be the two guards and war leader for each team, which are entitled to ONE grey account in addition to the accounts they use to guard. This is to promote active competition even within the sitting leaders of war. The guards and leader are no longer allowed to use their grey accounts once the kill prequisitries are met that allow them to be challenged (guards can use their greys until the 20-kill prequisitries are met against them; leaders can use their greys until both guards are eliminated).

- All cancelled gold accounts (greys with gold units) MUST be announced either at the beginning of the war or before engaging in a war battle; if a degolded gold shall try to "sneak" an easy win using gold pieces unannounced, their wins shall be disregearded and their accounts disqualified from war.

- Special drops are not allowed in this war. This includes all moderator units (sorry Hatch and xer), tournament winnings, and special gold unit drops (the ones from last december that we all hated so much? Yeah, those). This is to prevent against advantages otherwise beyond your opponent's reach. Anybody using these special advantages in a war game will be disqualified!

- Kill prequisitries for this war are as follows:
/ 20 kills (minimum) before a guard can be challenged.
// These must consist of a minimum of 8 GREY vs. GREY kills out of those 20. If one team would like to pursue more than 8 grey vs. grey kills, they are welcome to do so; however, if 20 kills are met without 8 grey kills guards cannot be challenged (if a team has 15 gold kills and 5 grey kills, they must keep going until they have 8 grey kills before they can challenge).

- Golds cannot challenge greys to war games, but greys may challenge golds to war games. This is to prevent golds from bottomfeeding for war wins, but allows greys to take out more important war figures given the opportunity.

- All war challenges must be accepted unless the refusal is with good reason. Combatants cannot refuse challenges on a whim, or we would never get anything done. Conversely, you cannot simply selectively challenge opponents--challenge only weaker opponents and refuse against stronger opponents. If refusal without giving a good reason persists, the result may be disqualification.

- Disagreements to pre-arranged games is allowed; however, lying about game arrangements is not. For instance: If you agree to a turtle game and mage-bomb, the match will be null and the result will be DISQUALIFICATION.

- Screenshots are not absolutely required, but they ARE encouraged, and without them, your match victory may be successfully shot down without proof of victory, so it would be extremely wise to use screenshots. If you are not sure how, a guide can be found here, courtesy of StreetGang:

- There will be two mediators/moderators for this war, one from each clan.
The mediator on behalf of The Arcadian Knights will be LonelyTylenol;
The Mediator on behalf of †Hells Angels† will be Stiff Meister (AKA ~Slayer~).
In the event of a contested match victory or any other war decision that needs to be made, Stiff Meister and myself will discuss the matter to come to the fairest possible conclusion. And if we can't agree, I'll get someone to replace Stiff. :) /kidding

That should cover the basics... If anything else comes up, it will be the responsibility of our mediators to solve it.

I can do it all...and Im great at all forms...but I know the chances of winning for each form. All the styles...follow same pattern when you play them...so the games get predictable just by lookn at the set.

So... with that said. Just somehow make a great set, first move and luck helps, but just play to win.

hey lads, i was in GL and heard about this war going down and was wondering if the GL branch of SI could participate in this in a friendly way. i was hoping that we could mabey split our GL branch into two teams with one team going to AK and the other to HA. this would obviously drasitcly change the structure of the war though so perhaps rules would have to be made. i think it would make it fun though and it would be nice for us atleast to have alittle compitition. i was already speaking with HA, would like input from LT. if u dont want this then its no prob. P.S. the teams would probably be selected with me as one captain(going to AK) and bludz selecting the other(going to HA).

Single asterick (*) denotes a grey, double asterick (**) denotes a mod.

- Of the grey (*) accounts: Knights Leader, HatchetKlown17, Menaddar, Armored Cavalry and Proverbial Monk were last noted as grey accounts despite the fact that they had gold pieces. (They will be marked orange.)
- The moderator accounts Teio, Senile Felines and The Colonel are not permitted for mod-specific use in war (no mod units). However, we are allowed to substitute our gold and mod accounts freely, since they essentially serve the same purpose.
- Naturally, each member is allowed only one account for the war. As a result, I will be marking second/third accounts a member has so they cannot be used as multis. I will go for the highest ranked account that member has, then mark all subsequent accounts as red with their name in parenthesis. Only ONE ACCOUNT PER PERSON is allowed, although it does not have to be the highest ranked one. (This will not include Mr. Mojo Risin, The Divinity or Monkey Eats Lunch, which are marked in the guards/leader part, or Senile Felines/The Colonel.)
- Scorpionz and War Machine are neutral accounts, and will be marked in blue, as will any additional people that wish to remain out of this war (or are fighting on behalf of Hells Angels).

Additionally, there are some people missing from this list that I simply could not remember (including Hoolwath's grey). If nobody can step forward and mention their names they will be left out of the war!

Cliche's name "The Divinity" was found out of AK before the war started. He will be using "5 Star General" for this war.

Proton and Pink Princess have been added. ~DoOM~ and Derlandser will not be added as they joined after the war began.

There is much dispute over dave04 and X-Dragon's loss in the war. Me14k beat somebody on the account "X-Dragon", but dave04 claims the account isn't him. My take on the matter is as follows...

First of all, it is irrefutable knowledge that somebody on X-Dragon lost a game to Me14k. Even if dave04 was the primary user of the account and even [if] he was not the one using it (which I'm inclined to deny simply because I expect people to lie about their defeats; there is no true honor in war), the account played a war game and lost.

If it was not dave04 that lost and he wishes to pursue this objection to the account's elimination, then I must bring up the fact that multi accounts are not allowed in war for several reasons, which I am all too happy to name if it is requested; if X-Dragon is a multi, which I'm inclined to believe, not only will X-Dragon still be eliminated, but Keiji Maeda may be brought back into the war as he was eliminated by a multi account, whose war battles would ultimately be scratched entirely (depriving Me14k of his war kill, but also depriving dave04 of his). Basically, even if the kill could not be accredited to dave04, the account X-Dragon would still be killed, only instead through disqualification.

The only saving grace for X-Dragon's account is the acknowledgement of the fact that Scorpionz has access to X-Dragon and, if Scorpionz were to be the participant of the game between X-D and Me14k, the match would be scratched as invalid as it would have been a war game between two AKers, one on an HA account, who would have essentially thrown the game.

If Scorpz had any part in the misuse of X-Dragon, the account will be restored to its normal state and Me14k's kill nullified; otherwise, there is a minimal guarantee that X-Dragon will be eliminated, even if it wasn't dave04's fault.

I will of course seek out Stiff Meister to weigh in on this subject personally; as mediator, it is both his right and responsibility to do so. However, until he speaks up on behalf of his clan, this will be my take on the matter.

A little while ago, I saw a grey online called ~slayer~ (in clan netjak). I asked him if he was stiff meister and he said he was so I challenged him to a war game. He said he didn’t have to because he wasn’t on his hells angels account. Fine.

Then I saw Magician88 online, which is the HA guard Magician’s grey. So I immediately challenged him. Screenshot:

Right after that he said “floor?” and I said 7 and got jumped by someone called “iloveboobs” and I left immediately. I’m already annoyed because I suspect my set was being spied on but I didn’t even complain about that. I got back on and said “Magician88 game” and he refused. He changed his mind and said he didn’t want to and he didn’t have to because he’s a guard, which contradicts what Stiff Meister told me earlier. I said over and over to play me and he refused over and over, after he had already agreed to play me by asking me to name the floor. I told him to play me or I’d post the screenshot and he refuses to play me so here it is. His gold is still in naturally but his grey is out.

Having talked to both LT and ABK at length regarding my grey's DQ, I stand my ground that I wasnt on the account. Judging by your s/s, it was roughly 730pm, most likely GMT, as I was online again at 730pm Eastern, on my gold, talking with either LT or ABK.

I left roughly 710pm GMT to get my dinner, then sat down to watch Lost until coming back online about 1130/midnight, to find the s/s you posted of challenging "me". Anyone who knows me well, or at all, knows I never refuse I challenge without decent excuse (the main one so far being my freestyle sucks, but I'm working on it! :p). So why, I must ask, would I refuse a grey challenge, especially during a war, when its as close as it is? I wouldnt. Bottom line. Again, going back to mine and LT's conversation - I fully understand and accept the DQ against my grey, and so will let it stand.

Yeah, about Darkness' and speaker's kills. Each got a kill against the other in which the loser had to go, so we DQed both. We jumped to the guard stuff after this argument was settled because the war was already dying down at that point and we were just expecting more heated arguments than heated battles due to the nature of the playing field.

If you'll also remember, there are several quotes near the end of the war about people with standing grudges against BG (E.G. 2xfire) actually coming about and commending them for being such a well-coordinated clan in war, and when monkus beat me the whole war ended in proverbial handshakes and pat-on-backs.

My point is, EVERY war has its major disputes, but that does not mean war can't be friendly. In a competitive environment, everyone is bound to use every rule or lack thereof, no matter how minor, to get an edge; that's the nature of all competition, winning very often comes before good sportsmanship. That's why we have mediators! Granted I don't like a lot of the opinions Stiff is taking "majicmaker wasn't actually fighting a war game", "he probably put the screen up just to..." And, in my opinion, Stiff Meister's primary goal as mediator appears to be to use the rules to give his clan an advantage, not to provide the fairest possible war game we can have. I'd have preferred ubah--but that's just me.

Bruiser (AKA Specialist) challenged him to a war game.
DarkWarrior108 said "nah"
I explained that he could challenge anyone he wanted, but he was obligated to accept any challenges from the opposing side.
DarkWarrior108 said, and I quote, "o shit" ... "wait nvm" ... "ya" in clan chat.
I asked for a few minutes so we could figure out what DarkWarrior108 was going to do.
A few minutes pass; off-topic banter is exchanged between other members; meantime, I am setting up a few forms I can show DarkWarrior108 to use in the war via e-mail, since I knew you'd cry bullshit if I tried to help him in battle before your game.

The following two instances I screenshot. There are no gaps in these two screenies, so it's 20 pure lines of text non-stop. The first is centered around what happens in clan-chat; the second is immediately afterwards.

In the second screenshot, on the bottom line before he left, DarkWarrior108 said that, despite the fact that he would be unable to play due to homework, he would still like to play his war game with you after he got back.

-Keiji Maeda loses to X-Dragon
-X-Dragon loses to Me14k
-dave04 attempts to excuse his loss as that of another user of a multi account

By any war rules I've used in the past 7 wars, and the intended war rules for this war, dave04 and X-Dragon would have been eliminated, and all his war battles discounted for the sake of the account itself, which was used for those kills, being a multi and thus being an invalid account. Not ONLY did I allow dave04 (the "main" X-Dragon user) to continue playing as a grey, but I allowed the kill against Keiji Maeda to remain valid, which I shouldn't have done by any means, because by any of my standards it wasn't.

Additionally, I allowed the disqualification against gigolojlo to go through no questions asked, despite protests from my own members, because I knew that he did not leave right away and stayed through at least half of the time frame specified.

What have you done to indicate a lack of bias? Piss and moan about anything that doesn't immediately swing in your direction?

As I've explained in previous posts, after what the HA leader did, I had good reason to be angry.

As I've not had time to explain yet, John Jay said I swore a lot. That is a lie and I suspect it is a poor attempt to paint me in a bad light. I don't swear, period. In my head, sure but not in TAO. So John Jay lied and I SAID he lied. Nothing wrong with that, unless you have a problem with the truth and you like slander being left alone.

As I've explained in previous posts, after what the HA leader did, I had good reason to be angry.

As I've not had time to explain yet, John Jay said I swore a lot. That is a lie and I suspect it is a poor attempt to paint me in a bad light. I don't swear, period. In my head, sure but not in TAO. So John Jay lied and I SAID he lied. Nothing wrong with that, unless you have a problem with the truth and you like slander being left alone.

If you want me to be friendly, don't lie about me. I have every reason to get unfriendly when people pull garbage like that.

I'll reread your post in a minute. If what you say is true, then I apologize, I read it incorrectly. I'll edit the post if I think you're wrong about that, which I don't expect will be necessary.

However, it still stands that you accused me of swearing in my post against Stiff Meister when I never did. I don't appreciate that.

That's a very important clarification. But to most people, swearing means cussing and so it's a much more insulting accusation.

Wrong. You said that in the paragraph that was aimed at me. Read it again. You said one more thing right after you ranted at me so that comment was aimed at me. Perhaps in addition to your poor wording, your post was organized very poorly. But look at it, it's clear that the remark was aimed at me.

I don't approve of Apoc's poor sportsmanship by the way.
