Guess the gas price contest.

Ok, my US history teacher did this thing, where we all take a guess at what the National average of gas will be on the last day of school, and the winner gets that much. It's not a big reward but it's fun.

So here what I will do. Until June 1st, people can come on here and guess what the national average of gas will be on the date of June 10th. On that date I will provide a link to a website that provides the exact national average, and the closest guess will get that much of my money, assuming they will e-mail me thier mailing addy. This contest is only for people in the US, as I will not mail things out of this country. Only one guess is allowed, and I will update the first post with everyones guesses as they are posted on this thread.

Please no random conversation, just guesses, and a little bit of praise for my willingness the give up SOOOO much of my money. :p

Right now, there is no official info as to the average price on June 10'th. The best I can say is that the average price nation-wide was $2.89 on June 5'th.
