Hello new members, i've been on every server today, both as grey and gold. TAO is not what it used to be, some of todays golds and greys disgust me. Some of them are now, cheating, boosting, and cybering. The the 3 ganna most focus on are Cheating, boosting and cybering.
Cheating/Scamming
Some golds and greys are ganna try to disconnect you by telling you to press certain kinds of bottons on your key board, or tell you to type certain words that would disconnect you just like type some keys on your key board would.
Never press nothing anyone tells you to press, unless you know what it does, some of todays golds and greys alike have gotten VERY tricky. Some of them will tell you that if you press a botton on your key board, you will get special units, new units, avatars, Double one of your unit, or turn your gold. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM.
Special Units
The only way to get special units are by drops on the server '' Revelation '', or by going to the other tactics arena called legends Located Here: http://www.digisonline.com/tactics/
The websites may look the same, but their both different in ways.
You can get unit drops on any server here at TAO, they all come pop up random in a Red Colored Messege, 5 times in 24 hours.
New Units
There are no new units, the last new unit came out months ago, its called Berseker, Heres the link to it :

Avatars
The only way to get different avatars from the ones you have are by winning special tournaments created by TAO staff or TAO members. The 4 special avatars that are only won in tournaments are the following.
Shrub
Barrier War
Lightning Ward
Golden Knight
Remember, the only way to get these are by signing up for tournaments in the forums as i said above.
Doubled Units
There is no way to double your unit, nothing you EVER do will ever double your units, the only way to get 2 of one kind is by drops, some units allready come with partners, for exsample.
Grey, Units Doubled: Pyromancer And Knight.
Gold, Units Doubled: Scout.
TAO would never have a feature which doubles your units, no matter what they say, NEVER type anything or write anything they say by them saying that you will get one of your units doubled.
Getting A Gold Account/Turning Gold.
Turning someone gold or getting a gold account is by far the most popular scam to disconnect you everyone is using. Again, TAO wont and never will EVER! have a feature that by pressing a botton you will get a gold account.

Writting Scams
Some people will allso tell you to type something on your PC, and that you will get the features that i explained above. Thats the samething i said above, it will disconnect you. Make sure you allso check what the word says, for exsample. Chessexpert, might sound and look like a normal word, but examine the word carefully and you will see that in the mittle part it says '' sex '', Ches{sex}pert, bad words will get you disconnected, or anything racial.
Don't listen or type anything your opponent says that might sound suspicious, cause you never know if it might disconnect you. I'm not trying to scare you, i'm trying to make you aware of the stuff some TAO Players are doing this days just to win a game.
Boosting.
Boosting is when a player pops up a screen and battling himself and giving up to increase the stats of one of his accounts. TAO allready took care of the poping screen boosting by only allowing you to be online on one account at a time. But some people would ask a friend to help them boost. If you see a person constantly battling another person and that persons stats are increasing, take a screen shot and send it to the mods in this link: http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15956
If you don't know how to take a screen shot, just press the botton on your key board that says '' Prt Scrn '', go to '' paint '', then in paint go to '' edit '' and click '' Paste ''. Then upload your picture in this website, its free and easy, heres the link: http://www.imageshack.us follow the simple upload rules, copy the link of your screen shot and paste it on a PRIVATE MESSEGE to a mod, and you just took care of a booster and helped TAO.
Cybering
Cybering is when one person and another person start having a conversation about sex. This is bad, you should not do this, and never ask someone to to this with you on your lobby, cause the in-game mods are there, and they will see you and ban you, and members will get a screen shot and ban you to, so just better stop cybering before you get ban and never play this awesome game ever again.
Overall
We don't want you to be scare, we want you to be aware of the thing some of the players do, not all players are bad, some of them are the coolest and nicest persons you'll ever meet. And don't worry, the TAO mods are getting rid of all these cheaters, boosters, and cyberers so you can have a safe, fun, exciting time playing this awesome game. Follow the rules, be safe, never give out any personal information to anyone, and you'll have an awesome time.
