Becoming Dape 101


Alright guys. I know you guys have seen Dape on the forums and trust me, I know what you're ALL thinking to yourselves. "How did he get so GD cool??"
Well I was wondering the same thing, but I performed an investigation as to what makes Dape who he is.

Lesson 1: It's All In The Typing:
His genius stems from the way he organizes his lyrical thoughts. A BIG no-no is punctuation. When you're thinking is lightning fast and highly technical like Dape, punctuation only gets in the way so don't waste your mind with periods, exclamation points, or even those crazy little commas.

In addition to the punctuation, leave out letters whenever possible. Words like 'you' need to become 'u' or 'what' should definitely be 'wat'. Letters are almost more annoying than punctuation because there are so many of them - they're all over!

An example of a sentence Dape-style: wat do u guyz want 2 do 2nt bc i thnk ppl on here so stooped

Lesson 2: Reading Is For Stupid Brainy People

Dape figures if you can't relate to them, don't be like them. Don't bother wasting your time reading threads. Just post whatever you want and the accusations you'd like to make. Leave it up to other people to explain the thread to you. BUT REMEMBER - even if someone explains it all to you, you DON'T need to listen! Feel free to stay ignorant and just ignore corrections. Continue to make your accusations - it's much more fun that way and it ALWAYS makes you feel like you are winning the argument.

Lesson 3: Rep Is Life

If there's one thing Dape has learned on these forums, it's how to jump on the bandwagon. As long as you can get rep for something, who the hell cares what side you're on? Later on, if the other side is getting more rep, switch your opinion. People probably won't notice, and if they do, they're the braniac reading type and who wants to be friends with them anyways?!

Along these lines, rankings is evidence that you're awesome. Even if it doesn't fit in a conversation or thread, who wouldn't want to hear what your ranking or stats are? Make it fit! Come on!

Lesson 4: Clans

Can't decide on a clan? No problem - join them all! Join a new one every week. Loyalty is for dogs and married people, not cool studs like Dape! Just wake up one morning and if you hear of a new clan that day, join it! If you run out of clans to join, make one!

Another idea, make sure you trash talk the clan you'd like to join before you apply/try out for it. It makes the new clan think you're a total bad ass. They really want you in their clan then. If they don't accept you, there's something wrong with them, not you.

With all these new tips, even YOU can become like Dape! If we all strive to achieve what's listed here, these forums will be a much better place for women and children alike.

Hmm, one of the first things I did on this forum was make fun of him, right after I made fun of sensei. They both thought that neg reps were better than actual words for winning an argument. Funny little kids trying to act big.
