Neg Bombers.

Recently, I have been bombed with application, so I am making this a formality.

At first, we were an in-game clan. Our targets appeared in our welcome messages. I remember Krome(Xenon) and The Admirability. They are not active anymore, so I guess it worked. As for our members... I know we were not many... not more than 10 I guess, but it was definitely enough. We were all respected forumers with proper behaviour and about the same opinions. Time went by... And people went to clan, which were full of active mmebers and left Neg Bombers. I am not sure who else is still in the clan, but I have been given the leadership.

Since rep power in forums does not have much with the in-game abilities, I do not find it appropriate to force someone to be in clan, which may not have the best players in it.

That is why I decided to make Neg Bombers a forum clan. No clan tag, maybe few words in your signature, that is it. I want Neg Bombers to serve the community, to punish those who make the forums look bad and those who do not deserve their reputation. Consider us some kind of a forum police if you like. :)

This is how the clan will work. Currently, it has two members. They are me and HatchetKlown. I expect it to grow quickly. There will be a committee, which will consist of 5 or more higly respected members of the community, all members of the Neg Bombers. They will decide whether to neg or not to neg certain people. Every member of the community can speak his/her mind in this thread and give us certain "tips". The committee will then discuss whether we will or will not mark him as our current target. Other members/forumers can then raise argument whether to add him to the target list or not. Committee will also vote in new members. Again, other members and forumers can speak their mind whether they want him in the clan or not. The committee will make the final decision. I hope this will work. :)

As many of you know, I tend to be a nice guy on the forums. Not too quick to judge, and slow to anger. But, I know when someone needs a good neggin', and I'm more than willing to hit them with it more than once. I would think that I'm considered a respected member of this community, and would hope that most would agree ( if you disagree, I might neg you. ;) ).

I also have a high amount of rep, and can neg for just over 60. I think I'd be a great candidate for this clan.

I do not want Merdoc in the committee. I want the members of the committee to come from different clans, so that the final decision is not biased. I have to agree with Monkus on this. I have had very little interaction with Mitosis to have a personal opinion so all I can go by is what has been said. The biggest complaint about the guy is he is considered a "rep whore". As for his Forum personality, I have yet to hear any type of complaints. If there are some then by all means fill me in so I can make a more educated decision. As for now, I'll scroll through his posts and see if that sways my decision at all.

The point of neg-bombers isnt to be teh guy with a bunch of rep flaunting it. Its to prove a statement to those who think they can waltz aroudn and treat the kids around here like crap. Its based on the principle of "rep" actually coinciding with a persons reputation.

If the only point of this "Clan" is to flaunt and belittle, fuck that. I'm better than that. You (meaning all of us) are better than that.

Personal opinion of who you personally think should have most rep and blah blah has nothign to to with this clan. This clan should and WILL focus on people that make TAo sometimes unpleasant to be around.

I suggest anyone involved with Neg bombers grow a spine and not let your rep get into your head. I have no problem negging people involved with neg bombers. This isnt a safe-haven for idiots.

Grow some balls and think about what you're doign and how you're representing yourself, before you talk. Yeah, as of right now, a lot of people look down on the idea - and its because you're portraying yourself as the justice system of TAO. And you're not. You are just people who want to dish out a little karma in places it needs to be dealt - without mod intereferance. And theres nothign wrong with that - but it's nothing more.

I recommend making this thread a sign up only thread, and shut up about who's going to be bombed and who's not. I, personally, will make sure nobody undeserving gets bombed, or I will fight for this "Clan" to die - and I know plenty of people to support that.
