Believe me or not, nooblade is my account. I'm kindof embarrased of "DarkMancers", but it's all I have to lead until Retodd gets back on. Or until I meet him when he's back on. And after almost a year of learning the game, I might actually be ranked as a grey. Also thanks to an anonymous gold, I've had some fun on Revelations too. So I'm not too helpless grey vs gold. I'm really starting to have second thoughts about going full swing with a new clan. Here's what I'm thinking about with the clan. (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26671) But it would be neat to be ranked. Part of my dream with netjak was to be ranked. Maybe even be one of the "12". :rolleyes:
I've played against a few fairly skilled players, but only enough to know that it sure wouldn't feel like I'd be a match for most people around these forums. It's really intimidating.
Maybe what I really want to know is this: if I get past 1400, does that mean it isn't so nubular to ask for sponsoring? Or maybe I just want some input from the forums. It doesn't feel like I belong in the rankings. I played a game with two experienced (admittedly ranked with their golds) players today that I should've lost but didn't.
Anyways, 30 or so stats away from my dream. I'm wondering which dream to pursue. Teaching a few people how to play doesn't leave much time for playing myself. Think I can beat the wipes? I almost lost a few points for playing too much today. I really can't play TAO at my best for five hours straight. :D And if anyone wants to jump me for the stats? I wouldn't keep them if I ever had any thoughts that I didn't deserve them.
PS someone said greys can't be ranked, but I thought Axident was. It is possible, right?
