this was done awile back. how would everyone like to do another one of these? If people would like to do this thing again vote in the poll and i'll find a time where tehre are few tourneys going on and make it happen. For those of you that dont know the tourney goes like this.
-players are only allowed to use pieces and attacks that were developed before the mud quake(this means no GA or wisp or quake or ass bomb or beserker or enraged furgon bomb).
-players may use a mud golem as long as they dont quake.
- the use of any prohibited attacks or pieces results in automatic disqualification.
-players must be able to present screen shots in case of a dispute. (if there is a quake and no absolute proof it will be a judges call)
-any particular form is allowed.
-to make it more fair for everyone no drops are allowed(certain players on rev have more than one of any particular golem).

The mud is still usable, just cant quake...they made the mud and realised it sucked, then added a nice little touch to it.

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Seed...Seed was playing with some plastic knight action figures when he realised action figures completely suck! Then seed created TAO as an alternate source of play...Seed figured, if he could battle knights online, why not battle beasts and golems as well! This began the rising of TAO....:p

alternatives are adding the wisp and beserker. yes they are new but can be used for good in this tourney ... not in noob ways (ex wisp ga). im open to all ideas
edit: sorry but i didnt make the poll public could a mod please do that for me?

When the furgon becomes enraged, he also can move twice in a row. Would this really effect gameplay that much, or is it not important?

I'd prefer keeping it just old-school.
Another thing is the first-turn wait on some units... dunno how to handle that.

The person who goes first passes, and play as if they had gotten second turn.

Someone who knows the history better than me, did the Furg come out before mudquake?

actually the furg came out about a month after the quake.
So wouldn't this make it a no furg tourney as well? If a furg came after the quake, and this is pre-quake...
Furg came out 01-30-2004, 02:40 PM (when bills posted it, lol)

Furg came about a month or so before the quake. Quake was made specifically because people were having a hard time with the furgon, and because not enough people thought the muddy was useful.

what i meant to say ... anyways who voted no and for what reason? i know of a reason that some older members that remember this tourney from the first time might have but other than that what?

no this is not a good idea

Actually, it would be fun to have a 2003 New Years party, only use units and abilities here at that time. Or even a 2004, then 2005 party.
