Officiall Third Annual TAO Awards

Since the last "Third annual TAO Awards" was in December, it wasnt really annual, and the results never were even created. People just like jumping the gun! so, now this is Official Third annual TAO Awards - The Real One's!

DO NOT VOTE IN THE GOD FORSAKEN THREAD. DO NOT VOTE AT ALL, YET! READ THE FRICKEN POST!

Now, its June again, and time to get things going!


Voting Rules:
1. Post in this thread, or PM meat.eater if you wish to be a judge.
2. The Judges nominate 5 Cadidates per category. These are added up and the top 3 will be voted on by the community.
2. For each award, there will be a winner and a runner-up.
4. Of course, have fun.
6. Judges (for nomination) and community: You cannot vote for yourself or your own clan.

How to vote:
For each category, choose one of the canidates nominated by the judges, and place them under the category name. Email myself (evanthomas_97@hotmail.com) or PM meat.eater (keep in mind my inbox could most likely be full).

Example:1. Most Humorous Poster of the Year-

2. Most Intelligent Poster of the Year

3. Most.. etc.

Judges will be determined, and the nominee's. Then the voting will commence. Do not vote for anyone yet, or I will consider your ballot NA and will nto count it when voting actually begins. I only want to see judge applications in my indox - or in this thread. Voting will last a week once the nominee's are selected.

And I'm putting forth the suggestion of removing the in-game and tourney section. Too many people, too many tournies, too many clans. Nobody's dealt with them all, or participated in everything. Just not too quantifiable a thing to vote on to my mind.

I agree with Mega. You would be asking people to vote on something they may have no idea about. It would make more sense just to limit the categories to something that everyone has had the opportunity to see or be apart of.

Also, I can judge if you like. I haven't been here long enough to get into any of the categories, but I have been here long enough to form an opinion about most of those categories.

Also a good suggestion by ironhorse. If anyone si brought up, they go on the nomination list. That makes things more tricky and more openings for effing it up or moving thinsg into judged favor, but it could still work with the right judges.

Yes, its basically a popularity contest, but the most popular people of each category will be represented. Isnt that how most awards are anyways? Yes.

Its just something fun and extra-curricular to hold as the kids get out of school - it shouldnt be made into a frickin huge deal, more or less something to feel the need ro rebel against. It is still based of thepublics vote, with competant nominee's who deserve to be nominated.

If you dont want to vote, dont. Just kind of sucks, as I ran it exactly the same (with some added categories and judges so MORE representation would happen - which seems to be what you want) as the previous years, and nobody really had a problem with it than.

I honestly think you're doing it just to be annoying or rebellios or different, as what you are arguing makes sense on paper, but literally no sense in this situation. And that bugs the hell out of me.

Serge, I don't have a problem with a neg, but at least make an attempt to put some intelligent reasoning behind it. Since I'm not overly familiar with people on here, I tend to judge the age and maturity of someone by what they write. You I'm guessing 11-14 tops.

Meat has already stated more than once that he is not going to allow everyone in TAO to nominate people for obvious reasons, one I did not see was the multiple accounts that people have here could also cause some issues.

EDIT: Also, ironhorse's Idea for expaning the pool was a good one, now that I see how many different angles teh different peopel of this forum have. I've increased the judges to 10, and the monimee's to 5. The only difference is that makes a little more work for me, but the payoff is greater.
