Got some trojans from TAO i think

Well i got a couple of backdoor trojans when i started playing here but i got rid of them but 1 just poopped up. And it kinda stasrting to annoy me

I highly doubt that you got "backdoor trojans" from TAO.
You most likely were obviously downloading something off a .something that's not a .com. Or you were trying to download a "hack" for TAO and got the virus from not scanning it.

Well, if you browse the forums a lot, its probally from the ads that are so much of a nusance to me. Or, that you were downloading something and well, yeah. Probally the ads.

they didn't come from the TAO site, pretty much within a few hours of their being trojans linked from anything on TAO, an actual intelligent person (not one of the retards giving stupid advice or reasons so far in the thread) who isn't tech illiterate will discover it and make a thread


That being said, I just looked at the source code for the main page, forums home page, and the play online page...nothing out of the ordinary. To bubac...whatever, a cookie from the forums isn't spyware, which is the only thing you'll get from the forums themselves.

If you're having trouble with the adds on the site here, take 2 minutes and install an adblock.

.com websites are just as likely to have viruses as any other. Infact, more likely because there are more .com's registered.

No, it explains how someone just assumes one thing and doesn't post information that he thinks is not needed. What you said is very rare, infact it doesn't even happen anymore. Unless he is running very old software and hardware.

Once you get a Trojan Horse you will be having a hard time doing anything, Plus you can't get rid of the Trojan your self, you will have to take it to a computer shop, There was a thread like this before and TAO did send off Trojans but it was fixed.

The only trojans that have been on the site in recent times were loaded on due to an exploit for the servers to the webpages (not TAO itself). This was remedied anyways, and has not been repeated.

ITs easy to get trojans out. There are just a few steps to do. Just get a better antivirus, and if you downloaded something, scan it, and then, download the torjan remover.

So many people haven't told me they got a trojan, plus myself has got one from this game and its ads so how can you tell me TAO didn't give trojans out, I know its been fixed now but it did happen.
