ive made a grey on army and joined x factor (pos me or neg me i dont care cuz x factor is cool)

ive been playing more grey, and using witch. i think im making the right choice, what do u guys think?

what type of setup do you use? If you turtle a pyro can be useful.

Allright guys i was a grey for a long time i did want to use pyros because i didn't have a dragon or a DSM to use it with but now i got my gold. but anyways i know how to use the witch really good so i would go for the witch!

i'd say witch cause the pyro is useless without a DSM and the witch actually works very well in my grey sets

Yes it is, but, I perfer the witch over any unit. simply like this, Say your oppents lighting ward is right in front of yours. I would usually freeze it if he start hitting it and you can use your witch to hit other units behind his lighting ward to simply weaken em. Then you use your Scout if you know LOS. Plus, the witch is stronger which is more useful because you don't have to worrie about a dragon.

but thats just one situation that might happen. if i use a pryo in a turtle i usually never move it out, just keep it behind my knights and if something comes near and im on a wait for a chanty or something like that, i'll weaken his unit with it. but with a witch in that situation you'd have to either move it out and attack, thus leaving it wide open, or bw your knight, and then attack. <- (may have to read that twice. visualize it.)

And i might be misunderstanding you, but the dragons attack will kill the witch in one attack, while it will leave the pyro with 2 hp, so i'm not really getting your last sentence. again, i may be misunderstanding you.

people are saying use both. i hate that. i already told u that i use 3 knights BW LW cleric assassin scout and ive had great success with witch. so the poll goes on witch or pyro. im going to vote witch in my own poll just to see results.

Actually, you didn't say that ;)

I'd say witch, only because of the scout. However, the situations in which i would want a witch over a pyro or vice versa are practically the same.

Thats 9 units...if you forgot enchantress, then swap her for a pyro and put in a witch in the last stop.

i forgot to say chanty, ur right. chanty is my favy unit, exluding barrier, so no way. i think i will stick to witch.

If you're so comfortable with it, then wtf you made this for, you're not even listenning.
I'd say take off barrier and put pyro, If you know how to use/protect mages right you would prefer an extra unit than a barrier, my opinion.

It depends on what you want a mage for. Do you want another big hitter in addition to the knights, irrespective of how inconvienient to use or easy-to-kill it might be? thengo with the witch. do you want something with practically no power, fabulous attack pattern and a secret 60% blocking all sides? then g with the pyro.

i used to play 3 knights, scout, cleric, LW, BW, chanty, and 2 witches. Ive since dropped the chanty and withces for 2 pyros and an assasin. I put in the assasin for more flanking ability and since everyone knows how to counter the chanty better than i can use it. the ypros can attack from inside a turtle and are less of a primary target than witches. everyone loves to target witches and i hate going on the backfoot looking after them.

Use Pyro/DMW until you get a DMW drop. Then use DMW/DMW. She is just too damn powerful with a BW and proper scout usage. Hands down, DMW is the way to go.
