Why'd ya go to jail?
Personally, I've been there (lot more than) a few times. Most I spent was 6 1/2 county before beiong transfered upstate. I did once do 6 months in a minimum security, then got booted out night before I was suppoed to be released and sent to the county jail for 2 months.....

Well, the reason for me going to jail is a little bit of a story so here goes...
First off, I went 8 months at one time, for getting high on Xanax's and breaking into a house, and stealing around $1500 worth of stuff (Something I've never ever THOUGHT about doin before being involved with drugs.)
I managed to get my time on that case probated by the luck of god. Therefore spending about 4 months out on parole and going to college, and then this time around. I gave my money to a friend of mine ( $1265) So he could go get us a pound and a half of pot. Well, he was high on pills, and thought he'd steal my money.
I finally catch up with the bastard and he had already spent around $600 in the few hours he ran away from me. I asked him for the money back. He refused and that lead into a brawl between him and myself. After fighting he started crying and said he was sorry, and gave me what money was left back. I searched him and found about an ounce of weed and three Xanaxs, and I took them as well.
L8er that night, he comes back with a friend and decides to jump me, and try to rip me off again, knowing the amount of money I was carrying. (Mind you, only half was mine.) I ran from them and got away. Went home and called my buddy, whose money I had. Told him what happened and we both met up and went looking for these idiots. Well, chad (my friend) spots the guy who was going to jump me with the guy whom ripped me off. I get out of the car, whoop his ass a little more than I intended and leave.
A week later the cops show up with a warrant at my house and take me to jail.

How about you little kids grow up and realize it's the idiots, that try and rip ppl off, when really that's the problem with trust in a REAL drug deal. A pound is nothing, and I don't know where you live, but anything over $800 out of Canada is way too much. Weed is nothing to buy/sell. Try getting into something where you can turn around a bigger profit. There ain't no such thing as "trust" in a real drug deal. Bring protection next time. You're the idiot that allowed it to happen. Why would you need to go through a friend to get a pound anyway, if you are such a hot kingpin.

The last thing we need for the testosterone driven "manlier-then-thou" boys here is to start carrying around scales to weigh drugs along with their rulers. So you sold it, bought it, traded it, etc. Congratulations, you want a medal? :p Yeah, it's the trust thing that's the real problem, but the trust thing is a gigantic problem which is well established and not going anywhere. It's like saying "well not finding a cure is the only problem in treating cancer".

TN, if your definition of adulthood is buying, selling, and transporting pounds of weed then you are destined to spend more than 4 months in jail. It also means that virtually anyone of any distinction is not an "adult" in your eyes.
Gandhi? child.
Martin Luther King? child.
Albert Einstein? child.
Joan of Arc? child.
Thomas Edison? child.
Sandra Day O'Connor? child.
Bill Gates? child.
George Bush. adult.

You've said some dumb things on these forums in the past, Nothing.
Dumb people tend to do that.
But bragging about your adventures as a drug dealer is easily the dumbest.
The fact that you created this thread means you're actually proud of the fact that you went to jail for selling drugs.
Or it's all a lie, and the whole drug dealer/inmate thing is something you're aspiring to become.
Either way, I think one thing is painfully obvious.
You're an idiot.

When Hugh comes flat out and insults someone, you have most definately earned it.
On a side note I fully agree with both Hugh and Wack... but for the sake of saving space I will keep my own two cents short:
If you think comming onto a GAMING forum and bragging about going to jail is going to boost your popularity you are sadly mistaken. Most of us have tried/use drugs on a daily basis, its a fact of life. But we arent on here bragging about it; and most of those people are numbnutted pieces of shit who are trying to seem cool.
You have only earned yourself the title of "Fucking Retard" with this thread.

Rene is right.
I mean come on, lol, he has a smiley face in the topic of the thread. Why would you want to be a pot head. All it does is mess up your life and you get addicted to it. And to me it is pretty funny like Rene said that right when you come out of jail you go on TAO. I guess you are addicted to TAO just like your pot. So what are you gonna do? Are you going to learn from your mistake or just go be a pot head again and get into some more trouble and go to jail. Plus all these drugs are a waste of money, and then they get finished up, it's just like throwing your money down a drain. It make's no sense. You will get no where in life with no education cause you decided to be a pot head. Just to let you know smart jobs don't hire crack heads. Your best job will probably be working in a grocery store. If you are gonna decide to change you better do it fast before it is too late, because when it is your whole life is screwed up.

I'm embarrassed to admit that you have given my list more thought than I did. I just kind of dashed off a list of people who came to mind as making some sort of mark or another. Had I thought about it more, I probably would have included some different people (though certain ones would definately have stayed, e.g., Gandhi, MLK, and Einstein). A thread of people's thoughts on the most influential/important people in history would actually be an interesting thread. And I probably would throw some artists on there (Van Gogh, Mozart, and Chuck Berry for a start).

Most of us have tried/use drugs on a daily basis, its a fact of life. But we arent on here bragging about it As said here, YES he bragged YES that was stupid, but it doesn't change the fact that we've all done it.
But at the end of the day there are THOUSANDS of people that live like this, or just go through a phase doing things like this. Though he didn't brag about it, even Jeff said he did time. If this is the first time of doing somethin like that, I think everyone deserves a second chance at the end of the day. TN messed up, and then did time to pay for that. I don't think he should be judged on something like this. BUT if he makes a living out of it then I really can't argue with what people have had to say here.

I know I wouldn't sit back and let them get away with it, especially if I knew them. Here's an idea: don't carry around hundreds of dollars of drug money on you at a time and then let everyone KNOW ABOUT IT! It would be like a bank putting out an add that they will have no security whatsoever on a particular day and then being shocked when they get robbed.
I think everyone deserves a second chance at the end of the day. TN messed up, and then did time to pay for that. I don't think he should be judged on something like this.I think people deserve second chances, but why shouldn't we judge him on this? It's who he is - it's what he did, not 10 years ago, but recently. You wanna tell the kid he beat to shit not to judge him for it? Second chances and judging are not mutually inclusive.

I didn't sell any drugs this time around. I simply attempted to buy them. Some drug addict whom I have been friends with for some time now, said he could hook me up. I was buying for me and my friend only.
I don't think that being a drug user is a cool thing. I just smoke pot, because it helps me sleep and it helps me eat right. Not to mention the awesome buzz it provides.
I went to jail for Assault, not a trafficing drug charge. I thought alot of you could relate, considering just about everyone, if not all of you have posted about your experience with marijuana in the "Is marijuana really that harmful to your health" Thread. How often do you leave your house, walk up to your friend and say "hey I have $___ on me at this moment"? Come on, that's dumb. The *only* reason you tell someone that is if you want to brag or show off, and again, that's dumb.
I can't predict when one of my good friends, are going to decide to let drugs control their life. Anyways...sorry for this thread, it clearly upset some ppl. My apologies.Clearly he wasn't your good friend, now was he? Oops. Also, again, this is SO usual - it happens all the time. It didn't seem like drugs controlled his life, but the money. Either way, it's generally not a good idea to let other people know about (and ever worse to let them HAVE) your money during a discreet junction.
