Well, you were better off starting Fitzgerald, if that's what you did. Chargers got freaking owned by the Vikings today, which I really didn't see coming.
250+ yards rushing and 3 TDs for Adrian Peterson. That kid is a monster!
Pats up 7-6 in the 2nd. Not a lot happening yet.
Burleson just ran a punt back for a touchdown. Go Seahawks!
no! seahawks need to allow anderson to score. Where did there pass defence come from?

The Seahawks have actually allowed fewer points than any team in the NFC this season, surprisingly.
Yeah I did start Fitzgerald, by accident.
I would have been better off though benching Anquan Boldin and starting Chambers. Oh well, it was only a few points difference.
I need Anderson to score as well, so I can get some QB points too. I am going up against Peyton Manning AND Joseph Addai. And Addai already has some crazy numbers.... The pats need to stop him NOW.

I hate the Pats so much. They pulled that win out of their ass, and the Colts just blew up as a team late in the game.
Nothing is going right for Cincy either. TJ and Carson are having great seasons. Their numbers are up there with the top QBs and WRs, but our defense sucks soooooo badly that they lost that game for us.
Odell is still out, Pollack might be out for good, and Henry is still out.
Even worse now ... Chad Johnson had to be carted off the field and sent to a hospital from something with his neck. Wasn't having a great season but even being there has an impact and I'm sure he would have fixed what was wrong. Now he might be out for the season ... :(

Ya, Spirit hate to agree with that first statement, but sadly I have to. I'm a big Patriots fan, but I know Indy should have won that game. 20-10 with 8 minutes left.. Look, I'm all for being happy for your team, but the Pats were awfully close to losing this game, and that's against a Colts team missing a star wide receiver and their starting left tackle. Get over yourselves already, you are not unbeatable. You'll have to meet the Colts in the playoffs, and it's going to be just as close as this was.
And stop Addai? Did you watch the game? Addai is almost the sole reason the Colts were even leading.

W00t, go Pats. And BTW on a side note. notice how bad the Niners are doing, in the midst of a freefall? Last year the Pats traded one of their first round picks to the Niners so their first rounder this year. So yes, the rich will get richer. (Darren Macfadden here we come!!)

Pats and Colts game was closer and sloppier than I expected, with a lot less offense. Both defenses came to play.
They'll meet again in the playoffs, and the question of who will win is still hanging. Either team could have taken that game today.
My Seahawks couldn't convert on 4th and half a yard in overtime! Ridiculous. They've got no running game at all, and they won't be anything more than mediocre until they solve that problem. Maybe Chester Taylor is looking for a job?

Not like it's really a challenge to beat Cincy. Our defense is that bad.
Our offense can even score, what was it 45 points? against a team like Cleveland and STILL lose the game.
It might not even matter if we score 70, our D will give up 71. :(
Actually no, no-one can. They had manning well in the pocket and he couldn't rush because of the OLB. They had amazing coverage and stop Addai. The Colt's played a close game but the better team came out on top.
The Pats are good but not unbeatable. And in all honesty, they DID pull that win out of their ass. Colts are the better team though, just had a breakdown at the end. I think next time will be different. The Pats haven't even played anyone worth mentioning outside the Cowboys before this game.
They didn't do the best job covering the WR, and it will be different when Harrison plays.
And yeah ... They definitely did not stop Addai.
Results of the tests on Chad have been good thus far, but he is apparently still in a lot of pain. Good news though considering what could have been. Hopefully he'll be better in the next few weeks.

Lions? I'd never heard of them before now, and they are kicking some ass.
Packers best NFC team? I honestly think they are better then the Cowboys, they just need to kick start their running game.
Steelers can they challenge the Pats. Answer = NO!
Will 0-16 happen this year? i doubt it but that would be awesome lol.
The Titans will get a wild card, and cause some damage, my opinion they 4 best team in AFC, the Steelers still have edge on them tho....

My Seahawks will destroy your 49ers Monday night, and I'm very realistic about the fact that we don't have a very good team this year. With Alexander playing like the biggest candy-ass in the history of the NFL, we're pretty much the epitome of average.
But average is still going to be good enough to win the West, and certainly good enough to beat San Francisco. You guys suck!

Maybe you should whatch considering the colts had the Pats down longer then any other team and even with that 4:00 2 scores the colts coulda won it til manning messed up with the toss to the pats. I can name 5 HUGE penalty's that should/shouldn't have been called.
1st...when Manning overthrew Dallas Clark, and Clark then tackled Harrison. No call.
2nd....P.I. on Asante Samuel. This was the closest one to ACTUALLY being a ligit call. I reply's should he didn't touch the guy, but in live action it was a close call.
3rd....P.I. on Ellis Hobbs. The officals said that he never turned his head. Here's a link. Tell me who the P.I. should have been called on?

4th....Kevin Faulk was tackled on a 3rd a 6 play. No call. Brady went nuts after that play.
Last.....The offensive P.I. on Moss in the endzone. Are you kidding me?!?!?! Just pathetic.
Also, what did the Colts do in the red zone vs the Pats? They got stuffed. Pats outplayed them. Simple as that.

You can't compare RBs to WRs in terms of fantasy points. Their scores are given out differently. Otherwise I could get someone like Brady or Peterson and say that Moss is shit compared to them. Graham is by far the best RB you would have been offered, and worth a Hell of a lot more than Boldin.

It's pretty weird when you think about it. The Bengals and the Browns are so similar in the sense that they both have explosive offenses, particularly in the passing game, but horrible defenses. They're actually the worst 2 defenses in the AFC.
But Cleveland has managed to play a bit better when it counts, and I think it's fair to say that their offense, especially Anderson, has surprised some teams and flown under the radar.
If the Browns hold on and beat the Steelers ( and that's a big "if") they'll be 6-3, and tied for 1st place in the North. I don't think anyone saw that coming.
Spirit_Monger
11-11-2007, 01:54 PM
Browns have played better than Cincy's offense has. They've stayed healthy most of the year to.
Clevelands been more consistent I guess. Cincy would have won more if they played more consistently. About 3 of their games they only lost by 7 or less.
Cleveland is down now with about 3 minutes left ... Hope they come back.

Some douchebag from the Ravens wrapped Chad around his neck and slammed his head into the ground. I know you have to tackle him, but there is a line between tackling someone and being a douchebag about it. I think he crossed it. ;)
Don't know if it's because of injuries on the O-Line, but Rudi isn't very good this year. Cincy should get rid of him and play Watson who is a much more versatile weapon for our offense.
Our defense still looks horrid, and now Dexter Jackson might be injured. :(
Chris Henry has 2 receptions for 70 yards now to. If the kid stays out of legal trouble he can have a great career.

So yeah, I know Philip Rivers threw for a lot of yards. But who thinks he sdhould get fired?
I do. He seriously is one of the reason the Chargers are doing so bad. All he is doing is holding them back.
If you look at him pass the ball, he rarely makes an accurate pass, he usually passes it way out in front or behind the guy; he is just an overall bad QB.

Have to say though, that my 3 free agent picks did me proud today. Chester Taylor racked up 35 points, DJ Heckett grabbed 19, and Chris Henry grabbed 14. Those two grabbed me much needed points from an otherwise bland WR depth chart. Gates ftw though, Gates ftw.

I hate running backs this year.... Seriously...

I agree. None have really been productive for my fantasy. Drafted LJ early and he's sucked plus got hurt.
Rudi has been playing pretty crappy the entire year to. If he still gave Cincy at least 80 yards a game I'm 99% sure we'd have a better record than we do now.
Yeah and Adrian Peterson getting hurt was just a nice little cherry on top.

3 point loss today... uhhh...
The Titans better pwn the Broncos tonight. Denver can't stop the run, so hopefully LenWhale and Chris Brown/Henry will run all over them. I'm hoping for a 150 YD rushing total tonight, and Ving Young to protect the ball and hopefully have a 150 YD pass performance, 60 YD rushing performace, and a 1 TD, 2 INT night. But again, that is hoping. If we have Albert Haynesworth, we'll win.

I'm currently down 107-103 in my game, but he has nobody left to play and I have Bironas and the Titans DST, so I'm pretty sure I got this.
Damn Pats DST put him in the lead though -.-"

Bironas is a stud, and has a range of 60 yards. I think he could hit any FG on the field, aside from something illogical like 90 YDS or something. The Titans DEF is great if Albert Haynesworth is playing. If not, they're just mediocre.

Well, I think we can safely assume that the Pats won't even be playing in the first round of the playoffs. A bye week and homefield advantage throughout is something I'm ready to hand the Pats right now.
Even if the Colts win out this season ( and they came very close to losing their third straight game yesterday, at home, against the Chiefs ) and the Pats somehow lose 2 of their last 6 games, they'll still have homefield advantage over Indy because they beat them.
Bottom line is that any team that is going to beat the Pats in the playoffs is going to have to do it in New England, in the freezing cold, in front of the New England fans.
Anything is possible, but that's a pretty tall order.
