This is a thread to where you can throw out a band that you totally despise and believe that they should have never made it mainstream or even had been born at all. I know there are many bands out there that are ridiculous and complete crap, and it would be nice to see what the TAO community think should never be on stage at all.

My band that I should have never seen the light of day is N Sync. Why you might ask? Well because they were a smash hit amonst the idiototic band fans for like what, maybe a year? So that is my band. What is yours?:cool:

Mostly, I just hate their drummer, but I've been told I look like one of the members of the band... :bad:

The drummer is praised like a god in some drum forum I visit, mostly because of the visual factor. His drums/set up are "visually appealing" so then every little dumbass kid tries to mimic it. Then they start trying to mimic his playing. Problem being, he sucks.

Nah, but that reminds me of the time I was heading to the Hell's Pit tour at the Electric Factory in Philly. All of the schuykill was gridlocked and you could just hear 10 different psychopathic tunes goin at once stompin the bass.

Ah, guess I read that quite wrong, and Nirvana wasn't the only problem of their departure and no one hardly ever listening to them, they just split up, drugs got to them alot, which effected a few of their members like Duff and Slash.

And them splitting made Slash form Velvet Revolver which was just bollocks if you ask me. People shouldn't forget them, they were once the greatest rock band ever, I won't forget them, I love them. :cool:

well, imo the biggest problem was axl rose's mental instability. after the illusion albums he kinda lost it. the arrival of grunge and MTV moving its focus away from metal were also a factor.

i like velvet revolver a lot actually. its the entire GnR crew without Axl. The STP frontman is nothing close to Axl Rose but he's not bad himself. It awesome when I first heard slither to hear old-school duelling riffs between Slash and Duff.

GnR will never be forgotten. they are crystallized as Legend.

I assume you mean System of a DOwn. I love that band. Granted their 1st self-titled album was a pile of Slipknot derived bile, but since then they have all been awesome. I still remember the time when I heard chp suey for the first time, awesome lyrics. their last 2 albums have overall been excellent, their most consistently good work without bad throwbacks so far. I personally like Steal this Album! the best. though Sad Soldier is 1 kicka-ass song.
