unit that came up on a whim. i couldnt find anything similiar in the last few months, if there is, let me know

unit: Caveman
Ugly guy, hurls a misshapen club.
HP: 38
armor: 0
Blocking: 24% front, 12% sides
Power: 19/17 (blockable, reducable)
Movement: 2
Recovery: 2 (1 for movement, 1 for attack)

X - Tiles directly hittable (LOS) (19 power)
X - tiles hittable through bounce (non-LOS) (17 power)

He can hit the yellow tiles if a) he has an unobstructed LOS to the tiles at the extreme end of his range, and b) those tiles are empty.
Simply put he bounces his club off the blue tiles in bold to hit the yellow. he can do this if the blue-bold tiles are empty and LOS is available upto the tiles where the bounce occurs. from bounce to target LOS is unecessary.

Analysis:
its simple and its got some vaired uses whcih i like. my biggest concern is that its v. similiar to the busher. but i think its different enough because its
1. easier to kill,
2. less powered at full range.
3. most importantly, the bounce condition hopefully prevents it being abused in the way the busher is. it cant hit a cleric if any of the 2 tiles in front of it are occupied.

It's just a little to weak for me to use in a game. The attack is fine but you may have overbalanced him in the other categories. Maybe add a 3rd move or lower to one turn wait. I'd vote more in the wait reduction. He'll get hit once, and not be able to really get out of the way. Scout and ga kill him before he can do much.

The bounce attack: If it hits a unit in the blue square, does NOT bounce to the yellow square....right? Can't imagine a club peircing something.

THough the animation for this unit would be hilarious

i kinda like it.i probley wouldnt use it in the game.
but i like the whole bounce idea.;)

huh? i forgot i ever made this unit. teach me to make units after drinking. i dunno if i even like it now.

Its underpowered. You should increase the movement and blocking a little and give it blocking on the sides, not back.

oh, and **bump**I know what it's like to create a unit while you're not in a "proper" state of mind. But just remember that this is as much your baby as your Basilisk is. :p

the blocking was a drunken typo. urgh.

aye, the basilisk do be my pride and joy to be mollycoddled. this tho is like the scruffy runt that ran away from the nest and looks after itself. it skipped its childhood *sob*
