This particular golem was created by the golem masters (creators) to bring to life the most powerful golem known to the tao universe.The GOLEM CHAMPION

This golem,when created has very few abilities on its own but when more golems are placed on the playing field the GOLEM CHAMPION absorbs their abilities.
It was created by the golem masters to absorb the powers of other golems, since creating a golem with multiple abilites was impossible and beyond the creators power, they simply created a golem who can absorb the power of others. The other golems have no choice but to yeild to this superior golem.

So on its OWN here are the golem champions stats:

hp:60
power:0
armor:0%
movement:3
recovery:2
blocking:none

Now with an ambusher and mud golem here are the stats:

HP:60
power:20
armor:0%
movement:3 teleport
recovery:2
blocking:none

Special: hurls a boulder at a single target from 2-3 tiles away, plus the boulder upon impact quakes the "ground for 1/2 normal mudquake damage" in a 1 square radius.

Now with a frost golem,ambusher, and mudd golem here are the stats:

HP:60
power:20
armor:0%
movement:3 teleport
recovery:2
blocking :none

Special: hurls a boulder at a single target from 2-3 tiles away, boulder quakes upon impact and freezes targeted enemy for 1 turn regardless if boulder is blocked.

Now with a double mudd plus an ambusher

hp:60
power:25 (any offensive golem after 2 (10+10) will only give 5 bonus then 4th golem will give 2dmg)
armor:0%
movement:3 teleport
recovery:2
blocking:none

SPECIAL: since you have double mudds the quake will be a normal muddquake(*note* the square hit by the stone is not affected by the quake), the power of this beast is astounding! 2 mudds+ambuser= 25 power! with 2-3 range DAS GOOD. could be good cleric killer

Now on to my last scenario

1 FROST GOLEM,1 STONE GOLEM, 1 AMBUSER, 1 MUDD GOLEM

HP:60
POWER:20
ARMOR:15%
movement:3
blocking:0%

SPECIAL: hurls a boulder 2-3 squares in any direction into an opponent.
this boulder irregardless if it hits freezes the opponent for 1 turn it also does 1/2 quake damage on a 1 square radius of impact site.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As you can see the golem champion is a heavy duty customer
the only drawback is that all your other golems become imobile and unusable while the golem champion is on the field and alive. tough luck if he gets frozen or paralysed.
but once he is killed you regain control of your golems....so keep them huddled into a corner as far back as possible.

i have made this idea before but decided to rename and tweak it a bit.

umm Its ok but a little too confusing for me, what if there is 3 muds or what about stone? Maybe a golem that gets +60 hp for every golem in play? then gets -60 when one dies or something? But really good idea the enchancment and all. also you are probably the coolest and most positive forum guy on here, kudos to you.

Good question! in all fairness if there were 3 mudd golems the power would be 25 (single hit) the mudquake however ...i'm not to sure i want it to be an uber quake since it would do 20,15 10 in a radius not the regular 15,10,5. food for thought indeed. if that were the case i may have to make it count as 2 units or increase recovery time.

Lol, This is pretty cool stuff..

Maybe instead of making it different, just give each additional golem a value when it is combined with the Golem King.

EX.

Each Mud Golem will increase the kings damge by 2 ; Just 1 wil increase the quakes damage by 3,2,1 (no quake with multiple muds , so maybe just increase the damage or something)

GA gives the king a 3 range throw, stuff like that

Frost Gives the attack a temporary stun (like berserker)

Stone adds armor to it, i duno :p

actually, it's been done before. Maybe I'll look for the old thread later, but the concept was virtually the same.

Kudos for thinking of it yourself though.

Btw, the name and description could've used some work.

i only read the first one befor e i realied I do not like this unit at all. for 1 thing it seems overpowered. being able to toss damage-dealing mud-quakes, damage-dealing-quakking-freezing is all a little bit too insane.

further and more importantly, it hurts the game. it is much more fun and tactically interesting to have several golems and coordinate theiar attack, movement and recovery well. this lets you keep a powerhouse and just fire away and let the combined effects do the work. even a rush needs skill to manage the busher, mudd, scouts DT etc. this will allow ppl to put this up front, attack and let it do its magic. no thought needed. imo this is only 1 step down from the generic 'God' unit.

Who wants to have a stone/mud/frost/ambusher do nothing? There's 5 units and only one can do anything. If you don't use all 5, they just gotta kill one or two golems and he's useless...save for blocking LoS.

Valiant effort. One person made a suggestion where each golem adds a certain stat to it, that would work much better IMO.
