These shaman are feared by both men and beasts, since they have chosen neither side to live on. Their savage nature prevents them from living in the general populace, in effect making them outcasts. But beasts can "tolerate" their behavior since it is animalistic and predictable folowing instinctual behavior. Or are the shaman so acutly tapped into the animal nature that they are controling the beasts?

HP:45
POWER: 18 (2 hits 9+9)
ARMOR:10%
BLOCKING:60%
MOVEMENT:3
RECOVERY TIME:1
This shaman is one of the weakest characters in the game to begin with, but a certain shamanistic ritual "the tearing of souls" will activate the shamans hidden power!
If the shaman kills any 2 units he will transform into a bloodthirsty beast.
STATS: bloodthirsty beast
HP:51
POWER:24 (2 hits with claws 12+12)
ARMOR:16%
BLOCKING:65%
RECOVERY:1
MOVEMENT:4
TRULY A BEAST TO FEAR!
4 movement 24 power 1 recovery WOW!

i assume this is a melee attack and each of the 2 is individually blockable?
meh, the beast inst that fearsome, it dies faster than a knight and its not that much more powerful, especially when it can do just 12 damage at times. the range is the only ferasome aspect to be honest.
and really, a weak melee unit is almost never going to kill 2 units.
its ok, decently balanced, not particulalry original.

True, the beast is actualy not that UBERPOWERFUL, but it is a terrible creature to deal with.
*note* you can kill your own units to activate this power.
maybe i should get ridd of the 2 recovery for the shaman form.

The graphics are great. I love the second head at the end of the tail.
It's a decent idea, but I'd like it better if the shaman was more spellcaster-like. That would allow him to make a more tactical change, maybe, causing unblockable damage at first to soften things up and physical damage later.

Yes they are seprate and blockable. and yess once the shaman has killed 2 units it is PERMANENT!
i could revise this unit some more perhaps make his claws enchanted so that he hits unblockable in human form.
so many variables, i even could keep him soley as a mele unit with no shapeshifting abilities just boost a few stats to get a solid 2 hiting unit.

if you make him unblockable then the point of hitting twice is lost. its the same as a single 18-damage hit.
I agree with deleryn that making the shaman a single-hit spellcaster with unblockable dmage and if he gets the 2 kills becomes the 2-hit beast-thingy would work better.

Yes, balanced, but not too original.

Personally, I think this would ruin the strategies of those who used this. They would always be trying to get this thing to do the finishing kill. That would lead to a lot of unnecessary moves to get him in position, which would actually hurt the person who uses the Shaman. Perhaps, instead of needing to get 2 kills, he should have to do a certain amount of damage over the course of the game to transform? Just a suggestion, maybe you think it is balanced, or maybe you can think of a better way to balance it.

True trying to get one unit the "KILL" would be difficult i may have to totaly re-do my idea i will change this one soon... i got a killer idea, and perhaps a better one at that.
