New weapons and ways to destroy the enemy were always coming about to gain an advantage in the struggle between nations of the feudal ages.
Name: Grapling hookman
HP: 45
Armor: 15
Power: 18
Range: 3*
Block: 40
Movement: 3
Wait:2
*It fires things over the enemy in a line. While only 1 unit is hit, the first unit to be hit is farthest back.

dunno if you remember LT's Grapnel Warrior, but I think he has originality kudos on anything with a grapling hook. linkage (http://www.tacticsarena.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15822&highlight=grapnel+warrior)
I disliked that it took so long to reel 'em in.
But for tactical issues, it looks like a weaker Dragon Tyrant. No, the roles would be different. This would be more like a defensive Beast Rider. It doesn't have to go as far, but it also has to wait longer. The extra hitpoints would be handy, though. That belongs in suggestions. :p

i think his movement is to low for a ranger unit... should be less than a scout cos he has a unique ability but higher than 3?

Good job, but Trick, it's no cleric killer. Think of it as 3 range, blockable (but with screwy blocking, i.e. back attacks from the front and front attacks from the back... right, coder? I don't see that anywhere, but it makes sense), non-LOS 18 damage. Come to think of it, it's inferior to the scout in general, with slightly poorer blocking and better durability, lower range and movement, nearly all else equal. Perhaps give it 4 range and a movement penalty to whatever he grabs? Maybe have it so a successfully hit unit can't move away from the grappling-hookguy (ended that with hooker, it was terrible. this thing needs a name) until it moves in some other way first.
