Did I just get suddenly banned? Because I was just in a game with Osama Aint My Moma and then I get this popup with some crazy code that looks like an IP address. So I'm like: wow. That's odd. Then it goes away, I lag a little, and then I'm immediately disconnected.

And then I typed in my username and password a couple times, and I got Connection Refused.

But now I'm back :)

Odd. Probably just an internet connection problem.

Most likely a firewall problem.. As for the screen with the ip.. That could be your CMD ( Start>run>type CMD ) See if that was the box you saw.

and if it is the command box, just type

ipconfig /release ;)

can you elaborate a bit? when you say "then I get this popup with some crazy code" do you mean a separate window opened up with some crazy code? If so, it sounds like spyware to me.

Yeah. A popup with a code that looked like an IP. Well it hasn't happened again today, so problem solved.

You should probably at least scan your pc for spyware. What popped up may have caused the lag, as well as the reason for you not being able to log back on for a little while.

yeah TAO generally doesn't cause many random popups. I should rephrase - it causes none. ;)

Yep. And, just because it hasnt popped up again doesnt mean it is completely gone. So you will probably want to do a scan with a few different scanners.

I've been haveing random d/c's but no ip address things i'm gonna agree with the others and do a spywear scan.

That is no help at all thats copying others, Well FA Scan your comp for viruses that may help as well.

or you could just get a Mac and wouldnt have to deal with a PC. ;)

And you not being able to log back in is probley were the server hasnt logged you out, uniq explains that a lil in a diff thread.
