Dark Matter Golem

Looks like: A mud golem. Except it's black, and it has a collar and arm bands which change color depending on what your PERSONAL color.

The dark matter golem is a peculiar beast from another dimension. It can literally turn land and matter into void, non-existent dark matter. ZOMG, isn't that 1337? :D.

Stats:

Name: Dark Matter Golem
HP: 60
Armor : None
Power : See Below
Range : " "
Block : None
Movement :3
Wait : Below

Ok, the dark matter golem has 2 attacks, it's main attack and it's special attack. Ironically it's main attack is used by clicking on the dark matter golem. . .holding. . .square changing color. . . yadda yadda. Well anyway, when he does his main attack, he hits the square in front and back of him or on the left and right. It does 10, armor-peircing, unblockable damage. NOW, for his special attack. It's range is one adjacent square, and when he attacks. . .THE SQUARE LITERALLY VANISHES!! THERE IS NOTHING THERE!! That space cannot be walked on, thus units must move around it. However, he cannot attack a space with a unit on it, and he cannot isolate a space :

X = normal space
D = Dark matter space
I = Isolated spaces

XXDI I I IDXX = NO GOOD

Wait: Move = 1
Normal attack = 2
Move and Normal attack = 3
Special attack = 3
Move and special attack = 4

Pretty uber 1337 awesome, huh?!?!? :).

What do you think? (I searched, nothing came up, please correct me of I'm wrong.) NO FLAMING PLEASE, first unit in a while :).

EDIT : This unit has teleportation, sorry I forgot to mention that.

The Dark Matter Golem can create a dimensional rip and travel around in another dimension, reappearing in in the first one :)

someone just made a unit that wiped out tiles. cant remember whcih, but yours is significantly better. the problem is that it will lead to a lot of draws. that said i do like the caveat that it cant isolate tiles. does that apply to corner tiles also? Im thinking of the tactic where nubs isolate the cleric in the corner with the LW and BW. this would allow you to do that late-game and pull of a draw.

there should be a way to remove the dark matter, just like you can remove shrubs, since tactically these are a subset of shrubs.

You can't search for "dark matter" and come up with anything serious. And some noob made something like this about two weeks ago. Not that great, since we have the furgon.

Link please.

That's the whole point though! Shrubs can be removed/destroyed. Dark matter can't be removed! ;).

-EDIT- Cross punisher it was more of a combination than a tack on. I had an idea for a golem that did it's main attack, so I really just combinde the 2.

Surround your frost golem with dark matter tiles. frost unit. no more range units, and bam. you win :)

how about this:

XXXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXDXXX

making them unremovable is a guranteed draw. theoretically I could just wrap my turt in drak matter and keep you away and pick off your ranged units.

still, I think the dark matter should fade, or this thing should have a MASSIVE recovery time. a blank square is a huge defensive advantage.

But I said that :( I said you can't do that!!!!

4 turns for move and spec. attack isn't enough?

PS: That guy in the link's thing, the zone eater, was WAY overpowered. It had one recovery time, and you could isolate tiles.

Making some kind of mechanic for preventing isolation would be difficult to code, let alone the ability to "remove" a battle tile. I think F_A's suggestion that the Furgon be used strategically to a less powerful but similar effect is more solid.

However, a focus effect to remove a number of tiles for a more permanent "wall" might not be too overpowered in my opinion.
