New In-Game Moderators

As many of you have noticed, there have been some additions to the in-game moderator team. We decided to hire new mods in direct response to the concerns of the community. As Tactics Arena continues to expand, we must expand our moderator team from time to time.

The following users have been selected:

Mushroom_Girl
meat.eater
Plusminus (Late acceptance of offer, sorry for confusion)

These users have been selected as the result of much discussion, debate, and effort by the current in-game and super moderators. They were selected for their overall characteristics. Yes, some of you might be more active, some of you may have been in the game longer. The fact of the matter is that these users are well rounded in all areas.

Please join us in congratulating them, and wishing them luck in their journey ahead.

In-game mods have to know of issues going on so they can deal with them (these issues often happen on forums).

A moderator cannot delete or fully ban a player. An administrator must be contacted (forum again). The mod section is fully utilized when it comes to being an in-game mod as well, it is NOT all about the game. In-game mod just means that we have no forum moderation powers, the forum is stil relevant.

Not always. People can PM you with screenshots of people breaking the rules, then mods can come in-game, and take action.

The point is that she is active ingame, and it's becuase she doesnt have a gold account that she talks in rev. She will moderate all servers, and that is what is needed? Give her time, and she will prove you wrong. ;)

No, super moderators have effectively become forum mods. They helpout in-game when they get extra time, or a large issue comes up that needs their help.

1) I didn't block you, I have no idea what you're talking about.
2) Even if I did, blocking you on AIM woul have nothing to do with modding or "feeling the power," it would have to do with you annoying me.
3) Several people, including mods and myself on occasion have blocked you on AIM. It's not a crime against nature.

Dont give me the whole "power trip" routine. If you act like a moron, I'm not going to part the sea's for you. Likewise, if you're willing to cooperate, I will appreciate that with a more personal relationship with you. I have no desire to deal with people who make poor decisions outside of my working enviornment.

The only active in-game mods right now are Uniquinous and Bludhoundz and they both have school but always find time to come on. Those two deserve it the most out of any of them.

September is always a busy month for eveyone. The servers are just as inactive as the mod panel.

But, I know where you're coming from, I always complained, too. But from the giant spur o factivety on August, and the lack of activety in September, I think it will start balancing out. Plus, by the sheer amount we went ahead in the restraint of perps, we have a bit of a cushion.

I've been getting online about 2 hours a week. I = west coast = late night. I respond to PM's and dont forum. If theres something specific you'd like me to address, PM me.

Other than this post, I have no need and will not defend myself or my peers. There's always a few extremely active people, even during down times. Realize that you're not the norm, not us.

At any rate, I'm pretty much back, though. Also... just for clarification... "I havent heard from meat in forever"...

Well first of all Wizzy, if you didn't care about Spawn, you wouldn't even take to time to reply to his continuous taunts. And as far as only GL noobs only liking me, I honestly don't care who likes me and who hates me. I have good quality friends on this game. If they don't measure up to your standards, then so be it.
