Pyro Pyrates back!

::PYRO PYRATES::

Many of you are aware of what happened to Pyro Pyrates, The Grim Reaper got the clan from romeo recently. We are looking for new members ask him if you want to join we are currently only on Army. Having some of the old members back would be great and having new ones too would be even better. I'm posting this because I joined on my grey bobo the hobo and wish to recreate a once great clan :). Since Grim is the only current leader (I asked him if he wanted me to help) and is unactive in the forums your best bet to join if you are looking to join is asking him in-game or contact me to contact him.

::REQUIRMENTS::

Greys: 900 stats Golds: 1100 stats -May be changed-

Must have a good personality and cannot spam/cheat/boost.

You must be tested by a member before you can join the clan.

Side note::: All old members will have a free invite into the clan.

Well you have to have rules I meen do you want it to become a noob clan, I centainly dont. The stat requirement says may be changed, the test game is mainly to see how there personality is and see if there fit to join which kind of fits in with the second rule.

Purpose
The Pyro Pyrates clan exists as a representation of two essential ideals. First, inclusiveness. All people deserve a clan, and skill at the game of TAO has little to do with what one can contribute to one's clan.

Connected to this concept is our second ideal: actions are judged rather than ability. Pyro Pyrates clan looks positively upon those who strive to improve the game by working against cheating and for fair competition. We value those who will not reject challenges much higher than those whose ability allows to win 90% of the games they choose to play.

Our purpose, therefore, is twofold: 1) Destroy the notion that TAO ability has any relevance beyond winning battles. 2) Place the attributes of civility and honor above that of skill.


I am right. Stats were never meant to have an influence over who joins this clan.

It is not mine although I did ask to help lead and I posted this because I wanted other people to be aware the PP is making yet another return to the game and obviously the current leader (The Grim Reaper) is not ever on the forums I posted it for him. Also I never stated that is was MY clan did I? I did state that I dont want it to become a noob fest, but never that it is mine.

But I would play the noob, I have seen may a noob go from 750 stats to 1000+

so...yeah.

Do you want old members? If so I think that is sort of a scam for recruiting, that is if you are redoing the entire clan and saying it is back.
Why not reap the glory of founding or supporting your own clan? You don't have to hassle with any past of the old clan that you did not have anything to do with originally. I think xyxaxyz2 should have the say so in rereleasing his clan.

PP is our old clan. We're not stealing it, we're reviving it.

I see that PP is not expected to be one of the best clans.
Give the whole thing time, we've just started the recruitment stage.
The ethics and conducts will be chosen and changed as time goes by I believe.

I was one of the three original members.
I helped make this clan what it was.
I helped define the ideals the clan stood for.

Your clan is not the Pyro Pyrates.
The Pyro Pyrates was a vision.
Your idea is not even close to what we intended.
Therefore, you are just using the name for recognition.
And being exploited for personal gain is the opposite of everything the clan stood for.

I left the clan because it is no longer the Pyro Pyrates.
People lost the values, and changed everything it represented.
You can call a clan any name.
But the ideals have nothing to do with the original.
Your clan is a weak impostor at best.

Imposing any standards of any kind is an affront to the dignity of the vision.
Pyro Pyrates were a clan for everybody, anybody, noobs ESPECIALLY.
The leadership used to get bounced back and forth every day.
The clan was stolen and recovered at least 15 times that I can remember.
And we liked it that way.
If you don't want a noob clan, then your clan is NOT the Pyro Pyrates.

This clan is not the real Pyro Pyrates. It is just a fake version of a clan run by a bunch of wanna-be conformists looking for fame.

I think given these circumstances I strongly recommend that people stay far away from this clan.

And thank you The Pirate, I'm glad to see that somebody remembers what we were all about.

I assure you, Snork. I did not forget that you were a Pyro Pyrate, nor that you were an Armageddon leader. I also did not forget about Serge.

Also, I can assure you that this thread is completely false, and what bobo posted is NOT what the Pyro Pyrates stand for. I would not have allowed this thread to be made if it were up to me, that is why I created a new one under Recruitment Section as well.

Everyone please ignore this thread and post in the one in Recruitment Section or the other one here in Clan Discussion.
