BANDIT ALCHEMIST

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d34/realistromeo/ROUGEALCHEMIST.jpg
These rouges like to surprise their enemies rather than face them 1 on 1
They live a life of piracy, surprising the unwary who travel along remote roads and suply chains. They are always on the lookout for easy money and rely on traps and bombs to affect their enemy before assaulting them.

HP:36
POWER:18 (9)
ARMOR:8%
BLOCKING: 45% FRONT 22.5% SIDE
MOVEMENT:3
RECOVERY:2

This unit has 2 basic attacks.... one deals damage, the other does not.

ATTACK #1
the bandit alchemist can throw a magic bomb at an enemy 4 squares away in any direction (LOS aplies here) if he aims the bomb at a square occupeid by an enemy the opponent can block the initial attack, but then all squares surrounding the attacked unit get hit with shrapnel also (blockable).

SO a bandit alchemist can throw a bomb at an enemy, hit it for 18 damage
and then the shrapnell from the bast can hit opponents on squares directly surrounding the impacted square (for 8 damage)

ATTACK #2

the alchemist can throw a bomb that contains smoke to distract opponents and block LOS attacks.....but the smoke soon disipates after 1 turn.
during this time a scout cannot hit a unit across the cloud of smoke, neither can a ambusher focus their evil intent up on a hapless priest.

The smoke covers a 3x3 area and unfortunatly does not block out MAGIC ATTACKS.
if you try to attack a unit that is hidden in the fog... you will miss.

how you like this unit?
i think analcemits needs to be made and fits TAO well.:p

Sounds ok, but I think that "smoke" has been discussed before. I like the bomb idea though. Oh and nice picture. Rep for you!

ok...wait...explain this right...

bandit throws his bomb-thingy upto 4 tiles away. does the sharapnel thing happen if its blocked or if it hits?

yr first paragraph says the sharapnel happens if the attack is blocked. the
2nd says it happens when the attacks hits. what is it?

can you see the units within the smoke? what range is the attack for this? what about paralyzing/barriering/poisoing units in the smoke? can units in the smoke attack each other?

this 2nd attack is rather overpowered by the way. i made a similiar unit in my noob days called the ghost. i dotn think this unti needs both attacks.
